Glad you had a great trip. Go easy on those reports cards, make sure you go to your happy place while filling them out.

Although the trip was fun and Disney is an incredible place, it did confirm my thought that some degree of the magic is created by the people you share it with. It was still nowhere near what a trip with my family is like. It was great - the sights and sounds and aromas are all just the same, but just to a lesser degree of excitement.
It's hard to explain.
IThe friend trip was good, but family trips are still much gooder.
I mean, better.
Did any of that make sense to you?
If not, I advise you to run far away now while there is still time.
If you completely comprehend what I was saying, it is already too late.
Please make yourself at home on this report. This is our report - not just mine. I just throw out the pictures, and then you all join in and tell about what happened when you rode the same ride or how much you liked the same show or how wonderful the meal was when you ate at the same restaurant. This is our hang-out until July, so come in the back door, of course, take your shoes off, and make yourselves comfortable. Please do share your thoughts and pictures and ask your questions. It helps us all learn how to do Disney better!
:
Picture the way you are walking now, with your lame toe. That's how I walk through WDW a lot of the time with my knee and foot so bad. Not a lot of fun sometimes.
Have a good Day. Good luck with the report cards.
I look forward to the shopping pictures, with Eeyore.
it feels like home...comfortable, where you can share.
I love the Eeyore! Does Kay like to remain "hidden" too?
Aww, I missed your daily reports. I'm so happy you have started, despite ALL the many things you have to do.
Eeyore's comments make me smile. What a cute idea.
I can completely understand what you felt about going with your friend instead of with family.
We have all attached our memories to our families.
I have debated about going on a solo trip but I think I would get too sentimental without my family.
Disney is so much more fun when you are with the people you love.
Seeing thier enjoyment and experiencing new things together, is the best.
It's a time when we are all together and not doing our own things.
I know I'll miss my DS, like you missed Brooklynn. I'll be thinking he would like that or his favorite ride is this. I will feel like something is missing.
I get sad thinking this may be the last trip with Aaron, as he isn't as Disneyfied as us three girls are. It's not that he doesn't like WDW alot, he does. He just gets bored shopping, standing in line for characters and going on rides like "Its a Small World". (no, I don't make him but, he doesn't like standing alone)
It's a shame we couldn't round up a friend for him to hang out with, I think he would have more fun at this age (15).
He is currently back on the..."I want to stay home in August with my friends and you guys go without me". I feel so torn, part of me wants to be selfish and make him go. The other part just wants him to be happy.
This would be the first family vacation without him, I would miss him so much.
Sorry to rant on, have a Terrific Tuesday!
My mom did a really good job raising me to be a Disney girl and I have stayed that way for almost 35 years -- I am sure Brooklyn will be the same way.
I am glad the funny looks didn't deter you -- they were just wondering why they weren't as creative.![]()

I love Eeyore and his comments, what a great idea!
Was that Crush on the ME bus? That is so neat!! Do they have new bus designs?
The book on the plane....is that the 2009 Complete Guide by Julie Neal or the 2008 edition?? I have the 2008 edition and I really want to buy the 2009 one but I am wondering if it's "worth" it....thoughts?
I absolutely love Eeyore and his signs! :
I love Little People, Big World.
Okay, I am officially coming out my lurkdom! I have lurked on all of your previous TR's and I just love them! I do need to go back and re-read Baby and the Tramp again, DH and I took our 8 month old son, Carter to WDW in January when he was 5 months old and he didn't do much but sleep in his stroller. We are going back in Sept and Carter will be 13 months old, I think it will be a MUCH different trip, I'm hoping to get some tips from when Brooklynn was a baby.
MeMom, you and Jill are so lucky to be able to vacation together, Stephen (DH), Carter and I go to WDW 2-3 times a year and my parents usually go at least once a year with us. I love our trips with Mom and Dad, it's just nice being together with them on a daily basis, it's almost like being home again.
Anyway, I love your TR's and I promise not to lurke anymore. Can't wait to hear all about your trip with Kay. Oh, we![]()

the Pop too!!

Safari sounds awesome! Something educational for the kids and a little time to get report cards done. Good luck with the comments. That was the part that always took me forever.
When will you find out if you'll be able to change grades?
Welcome Back Memom, glad to hear you had a great trip! Plus now you have a new grandbaby and a July trip to look forward to.
I so understand your comments about family trips, I have to travel quite a bit for work and often without my DH and/or kids and I find myself wishing that they were with me since it would make the moment so much better. When DH and I were riding the cable cars in SF in January, I so wanted to share the experience with the kids and see their reaction.
Thanks for the warm welcome as always.
Yay! It's another MeMom report.I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your adventures to Disney especially since I will not be back there until 2010 which seems very, very far off right now.

good for you for continuing to hobble! i'm trying to walk normal but if i'm wearing a shoe i can't. it's just impossible.
Hey Memom -- i love the Eeyore idea. I think it is so cute.
Disney World is so special to me because it really does remind me of a special time with my family. Even when I am there by myself I still think of that first time.
I remember driving down from New York in my Aunt's car b/c my Mom's datsun hatchback had broken down the day before.
I was 10 years old... We did not have that much money back then. I just remember that special drive and all the great memories.
My parents were separated at the time, but I remember the pay phones in Epcot where I called my Dad. The only by the rest room near Figment and the ones by character connection. Every time I walk by I blow a kiss to the memory of my Dad.. Wow -- Did I just get emotional.
Enough about me... I cannot wait to hear more.
I have my Disney music going in the back ground, so they should all make C's and above.![]()

It's hard to explain.
So, I had this brilliant idea that my pal, Eeyore, would come along with us and make little comments along the way. He is smaller than a plush doll, so easier to carry, and his little photo holder would be a place for comments.
Here's Eeyore on Wednesday morning.

Nothing wrong with C's; afterall, it's the C students who run the world.
Don't let me stop you from showing everyone your shopping pictures.![]()
Memom: I think you did a very good job explaining it. To me "Family makes everything better!"
I love Eeyore. He's gonna make this trip fun. I can tell![]()
Glad you are back MeMom. I hope you got some rest because we are ready to hear all about it.
Jill, how are you feeling? Is Bellarie trying to make her grand entrance today?
I love the Eeyore idea! So cute! Your Eeyore clock is very cute, too.
I hope that Jill and Brooklynn both get more sleep tonight. How has Jill been feeling?
MeMom!
You've started your new trip report before me! Now I feel really bad that I don't have pics up or anything! Eeyore is a really cute idea, it will be great to see how that carries on throughout the report!
Jill,
I hope you and Brooklynn get some more sleep tonight!
Hi,
I found you.
Great start to the report.
look at the traffic heading in.
Can't wait for more.
