I forgot about that! I felt that it tasted like vaguely pineapple-flavored melted plastic.
It's amazing to me how different people's tastes are! What is absoutely "to die for" to some is "mediocre" to others.![]()

I suspect it is a combination of personal taste, regional tastes and dining "experience" for lack of a better word. Those who do a fair amount of fine dining are going to be a little fussier about the quality of sit down meals at the park because they have that higher standard to compare it to.
Food really does vary a lot across the states. Fry sauce is a staple in Utah, White pies in New York and neither is available here in CA. The people in UT looked at me like I'd grown another head when I asked for sourdough bread. I took a trip that included TN and MO this summer and was introduced to proper sweet tea, fried green tomatoes and sweet cream (as opposed to buttermilk) waffles.![]()
I LOVE the gumbo over at Cafe Orleans, so I thought gumbo at the Royal Street Veranda must be pretty yummy too, right? WRONG. It's horrible and nothing alike. I'm a fan of clam chowder too, and it's bad here too. I was very disappointed.![]()
The chicken pot pie at Ariel's Grotto was not great, the sauce was very salty and had a glue-like texture.
MMMMM I love fry sauce!!!!! No, you can't get it in CA so I just make my own when I feel like it. After all it's just mayo and ketchup mixed together....sometimes with some other "special" stuff in it (like relish) but it's easy to make when you really need it.And I've never eaten in UT, we had fry sauce where I grew up in OR.

The only food we didnt really care for was the burgers at the Tommorowland Terrace (I think that is what its called). After one bite we each felt there was something wrong with them. We went back up and complained (nicely). They gave us our money back and the option of getting something else, at no charge. They also threw in some complimentary rice crispy treats. So we left there feeling like they really cared. We'll definitely eat there again.
This is exactly true.... We found the american food generally very bland, big portions high in carbos, low in vegetables. On our second trip we mainly cooked our own meals and I am sure most americans would think our food was meagre sized and very spicy....... Its all what you are used to.
