A trip in July.. hmm, what will it be like???? with pics

Ok so now DZ, MZ, EZ, Biff and JM were going on Barnstormer. I sat this one out with Bip and LL. We looked around and LL bought a visor to protect her nose and Bip and I bought frozen lemonades to beat the heat. it didn't work.
After the ride Jm said she did not like it. Oh well.

So EZ takes her to.

then she went across the way to the little playground.

We then decide it is time to check out JC and see if it is busy. It is around 12:30 so we decide we will take the.

ALL ABOARD!!!!!!!!

As we rode we passed Tomorrowland which we never got to.

So we get to Frontierland and MZ, EZ and myself run into SM for fp's. I got one for Biff also in case he wanted to go again.

We also found out this is where the crowds were and the real heat. It is HOT in that area of the park. Also the tour groups were all over here. lots of people but still not too bad.

Then we pass SM and I see a soda cart and get an ice cold water. MMMM
Now we have lost the other 4, no idea where they went. MZ calls DZ and it turns out they r still at the exit for the train. They had no idea where we went so they stood in one place. Oops.

While MZ went to get them the speaker by us turned on and "Woody" music came on. I just thought they played the music during the day in Frontierland cause he was a cowboy till I turned around and saw.

When I informed JM about this i got a response that she did not care. I bet if it was the Princesses she would have.

So then we re-group and we head over to JC.

I posted in the beginning that you took great pictures, and I'm glad to see that the pictures continued.

I was pleasantly surprised with Peter Pan too, we actually enjoyed that ride.

They certainly did continue. A little too much now but I like it more than words.
That is 1 ride I will definitely do again.

Ok now we go to JC and we get in line. I thought the sign said 20 min but really it said 40. This was our longest wait. We got on the ride about 30 min later. it was nice with the fans.

So we board a boat.

Our guide who was really good. he was funny and corny which is what you expect on this.

i love all of these elephants. i have memories far back of them.

keep your head in check.

Now we divided up again. Myself, MZ, Ez and Biff stayed in the park while Bip, LL, DZ and Jm went back to POR for Jm to rest cause we had dinner reservations at Spoodles and then we were going to see "Wishes".

We said our goodbyes and we went to Aloha Isle and Biff and I both tried the Pineapple Floats. I thought it was just ok, nothing special. Biff thought the same thing. next time i will try the whip but I am glad I tried it.
We then walked over to SM for our FP. This was also a long line for FP we waited about 20 minutes. Did Biff chicken out or did he ride it again. Please scroll down for the pic.

he chickened out. Her eis the fp that was never used. He said no thanks. The pic of the three of us was funny and I was going to buy it but then Ellen said not to and we both listened and MZ and me both regret it cause it was great.

It is about 2:30 and we decide to head back to the resort.

Mistake number 2 - walking out we r going down Main Street and we could literally have had sat anywhere for the parade. We decided it was too hot but I was shocked it was only 20 - 25 minutes before parade time.

aah found it.

ooh the monorail.

So after that we went back and showered and got ready for out night out.

Next will be Spoodles, Boardwalk, Wishes and mistake number 3.

Thank you. I was hoping that would be how it felt when someone read it. He did come around and enjoyed himself up till the end. But that happens the last 5 minutes of the trip.

Ok so after freshening up we all re-group and meet outside our rooms. Ok here is mistake # 3 and it was a big one.
We are going to Spoodles for dinner so I suggested we take an Epcot bus and walk through. Oh don't worry it is not far at all. Well we were 9 minutes late for the ressie but we did get to see a few sites. I can honestly say I did not know it would be that far. Bip and LL kept asking if we were there yet.

If you look closely behind the wand you can see the crane in place.

I would love to stay in this area once. it is so nice.

So we finally arrived at.

brief review -
Apps. -
DZ calamari - liked it.
MZ - margarhite flatbread - liked it.
me - four cheese flatbread - loved it.
Biff - i don't remember
EZ - i don't remember
Bip - the bread and Mediterranean dips - hated it.
Ll - do not remember.

Entrées -
mine - steak kabobs. Now I do not like my meat anyway except for well done. however, they burned it so much my teeth turned black from eating it.
Bip - steak kabobs - did not like.
LL - steak kabobs - she thought they were ok.
EZ and Biff - got the fish. EZ said it was ok, biff's was to well done and had to send it back but enjoyed the second one.
DZ & MZ got the pasta. Dz said it was good. MZ ate his and then you look down at it and it is like soup. It was NASTY. He actually went outside cause he was sick before dessert even came and never came back.

we enjoyed the desserts. here was mine.

it was delicious.

Once we finished we went outside and caught up with MZ who was watching a turtle and some ducks. he said he was feeling better.
Guess we all will not be going back there.

So we just walked down to the lobby of BWI and along the way i took these.

I would love to stay here also.

Now before we went into BWI we watched some performers on the Boardwalk. No pics of them but they were fun to watch.

So we waited less than 5 minutes for the bus and we jumped on to head to the MK for "Wishes". We were running late so we knew we would not see the parade but hoped for a decent place to watch the show.

Ok so the bus takes us over to MK and guess what..we made it for some of the parade. JM was so happy. uncle MZ took her and put her up on his shoulder so she could see. I kind moved to the middle so I can try to take pics.
**WARNING** not good pics ahead.

and then......

And now "Wishes". We had seats on the curb towards the exit so it was nice. We saw Tinkerbell flying down (no Pics) and JM loved it. Now if u remember from the flight down there was an obnoxious girl who held up our flight well Biff told me on the way out that she was right there too. I guess i was too busy with the camera to even notice.
Fireworks have got to be the hardest thing to photograph.

And so the show concluded and all is i can say is WOW. I loved it. Absolutely fantastic. Next time I want to video tape it.

We head out and the line for Riverside is already through the queue so someone on here said take the FQ bus and walk over. The FQ bus was just about to leave and the CM stopped it. We jump on. We get to FQ quickly and we all get off and Bip innocently said how far of a walk is it to the driver. He told her to get back on and he will drop her off well she yells for us to get back on. As I'm getting on he is like how many r u? Now mind you there was a couple in there 20's who had the same idea to walk to Riverside and once I screamed he will drive us they climbed on to. We all get on with the 2 strangers also and Bip looks at them and says who r these strangers, we have stowaways. I was hysterical. So the FANTASTIC driver drove us all over to Riverside and DZ and JM went to bed while the rest of us had a nightcap.

After 2 drinks we all said goodnight. I got my cup and refilled it and then off to bed we went. Tomorrow will be a busy day. we thought.

Thanks for reading. I use the 2 Zuiko lenses that came with the camera, I kept switching between them all day.

Thank you. I was really surprised at the crowds. Frontierland was the only place it was busy. The crowds in the other 2 parks we visit will be discussed also, but so far DTD and MK very nice experiences.
