A TR..Surprises galore!MNSSHP,WishesDessertParty,Wishes Cruise -- Final Thoughts :(

Part way into the parade Joe was really feeling the pain. Major pain. We decided that it was time for us to go. We said our good bye's to Jenn and her family and made our way out of the park.

It was around 11 by this time and mom was starving. We decided to drive into Kissimmee. She had no clue what she wanted but it had to be easy on her stomach. Soooooo, we found a Wendy's and she got herself a baked potato.

We got back to our room and fell fast asleep.

Next.......EPCOT...it was WS day!

I was really looking forward to this day. We were going to get to meet Lisalonglash. Both of us had ADR's for dinner around the same time so we were planning to at least get to say hi!

We got up fairly early and decided that we wanted to have breakfast off property. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. Why?????

We went to Perkins, right outside Disney property. It was actually good. We had a bad experience here at home at a Perkins so I have been sorta shy about trying it again. Breakfast was good. I wore my Minnie ears...people pointed...but it was all good.

We went to Walgreens to get a memory card for Jenn since we were off property. That way she didn't have to go and get one.

We got to EPCOT around 10:30. WS was opening at 11 so we had plenty of time to make our way over there.

Then it was decision time.......Canada or Mexico?????

We decided on Mexico this time. We have not been inside the Mexico pavilion in YEARS. I love the market place. I talked Joe into riding the boat ride (I can never remember what it is called.) After much protest, he said yes. I did not get very good pictures with the point and shoot. I was not lugging around the other camera today.

We were planning to meet Jenn today and she was going to call us once they got to EPCOT.

After EPCOT we made our way over to Norway.

We rode Malestrom and then did some shopping. Here comes the next SURPRISE of the trip.

Guess what????

Joe got me a pair of Helly Hanson boots and a jacket for our anniversary! I was sooooooooooo excited! My mom got my sister the same pair of boots too. Joe also got a pair of sneakers. He had been eyeballing them in May. We spent a TON of time in the store and as it turns out, it worked out perfectly as Jenn had arrived and was going to meet us there. And.......no pictures... I totally forgot!

After Jenn arrived we were all hungry so we went over to Kringla for a snack. I remember that I got school bread but I have no clue what everyone else had.

Next up was China.

Here's John being silly.

Jenn and Kayla were at Kidcot, I think. I don't know where they were but we spent some time in the store too. I really, really wanted to get soup bowls to match the spoons that I got in May. Yeah, they didn't have them. I was bummed.............

We left China and went to the Outpost. I never understood this place. The kids had fun playing the drums though. Yeah, Jenn will kill me when she sees this picture but it was the only one I got of Jack.

It was getting hot...really, really hot.

I can't remember where we were when we saw this! Check out the price tag!!!!!!!!!!

We then went shopping in Germany. I was mad as a hornet when I saw that they had the freaking stein that I wanted to get Joe for our anniversary! OMG, where was it a couple of nights ago?????????????

After Germany came Italy. We spent some time taking pictures.

There was a group of guys obviously on a guy trip. They were pretty drunk already and they were all wearing Viking hats. Pretty dang funny.

We skipped the American Adventure. No one but me was up for it. We did get to see these guys though.

I sorta wanted a funnel cake but it was way too hot to even consider having one. Yukky hot.

We went through the stores in Japan. Very,very cool. Joe wanted to get my brother this bizarre drink that you put a rock in before you consume. We went inside too and did some shopping. Then we did something we have never done before. Joe thought that I should get a pearl. I thought, eh, not really interested but why not? So far we had watched some decent sized pearls so we got one. I picked the ugliest shell that I could find. YAY, lookie.................

Kayla was going to try too. I didn't get a picture of hers though which I am bummed about.

Joe thought that we should try again to see if we could get another one close to the same size so that I could make earrings....so we did........AND got one nearly the same size! Yay!

One was 7 mm and the other was 7.25 mm. Right now they are sitting in a drawer waiting for me to do something with. It was a LOT of fun and I am really glad that we did it.

I was hoping that the candy lady would be there but she was on vacation. Joe and I saw her for the first time when we were there in May and I knew that Kayla and Jack would love to see her. Hopefully next year.

We spent some time in Morocco which was nice as I had NEVER done that before. Can you believe it? Been to Disney a LOT and never been to Morocco.

We were SO hot after leaving Morocco that we found a spot to rest. Mom, Joe and I are all allergic to perfume so we didn't quite pick the right spot!

We had ADR's at Chef's de France for 5:20. Jenn had an ADR at LeCellier at 4 something (I think). We had some time but didn't want to go much further than France. Jenn knows that I love the Beast..big time.... She went to find out when he would be coming out and it turns out that it worked out perfectly. We were the first in line! OMG, you will laugh, but this made my trip! You have NO CLUE how long I had waited for this moment!

After I met Beast, Joe went to see if we could get an earlier ADR at Chefs. They said we could which was awesome.

We found a table and Joe got himself a little ice cream snack. We watched the show and relaxed a bit before dinner.

They opened the doors at 5 and we got seated right away.

I got a text from Lisalonglash that she was there. She came over to say hi and I was happy to get to meet her! Our plan was that we would go and look for her so that we could meet her family once we were finished.

We had a very nice server and placed our orders. I got this same veggie lasagna in May. It was delicious! Mom got the same thing.

He said that it was outstanding. We really love this place!

The last surprise of the trip was that Jenn and I booked the Wishes desert party. We were going to start John's birthday celebration here!

Given that we were headed to MK right after dinner at Chef's, I did not want to get desert there. It was part of our meal so we got this and mom, Joe and I picked at them.

We were ready to leave and so we went to the main dining area to look for Lisa. I was SO DARN bummed because I could not find her! We ended up being in the way of the wait staff so we decided that we should probably head out before someone got mad. Just as we were leaving we saw REMY! This was a huge surprise given that we learned in May when we were there that he would not be there when we returned in September. We were actually trapped behind Remy's cart which made it even harder to find Lisa. I sent her a text letting her know that I was sorry that I did not get to see her again. I was totally bummed about that.........

Mom said that she really wasn't feeling well. The heat was finally getting to her and she didn't think that she would make the desert party.

We took the boat back to Future World.

We made our way back to the car and then to CSR. We did not have much time to relax but we changed and then Joe and I headed over to MK. Mom decided that she would stay back.

Next.....did we make it to MK in time? How was the party?

I'm glad you posted in my TR that you did an update, because the Dis did not notify me..matter of fact i didn't get any notifications showing anyones updates I hate when it does that!! GRR!

I'm glad that you're still reading along with me. I may come close to finishing this weekend. Being home sick gives me lots of time.

Loved your last installment by the way. I want to hang out for Snow White next year. Hopefully either Joe will be in better shape or agree to a scooter.....

Excellent updates! I can almost hear the "Boo to You" music from the parade. Great pictures too. I think it's funny how they still have the Christmas lights on the castle but I guess it would be a pain to take them down.

Joe and I left mom at CSR and made our back to MK to meet Jenn.

Our check in time was 7:55 for the Wishes Party. We were late but Jenn was already there an waiting in line. There was an awesome CM that checked us in along with Jenn. We got our wrist bands and were in line ready to be seated.

We were seated pretty fast. There was pixie dust on our tables and this cute little tag with our name...which I didn't get because they CLEARED the tables so dang fast. That sorta made me a bit mad but eh, what could I do.

Ok, back to the Party...............

We were seated right next to the buffet and of course, at two different tables. I would do this again in a heart beat, even given that the seating situation was not ideal.

Here are a couple of Jenn's pictures. I did not get any of the buffet or the tables.

There were people claiming their spots to take pictures so Jenn and I did the same. I was using the largest lens that I had and Jenn shot with our medium sized lens.

We were taking some castle shots while we waited.

I was using the lens to see if I could see where Tink would come from out of the castle. I was using it like a telescope actually.

Check out this super craptastic shot that I got of Tink. OMG, I was so disappointed in myself.......

We were anxious for Wishes to start. Both Jenn and I snapped like fools and took a ton of pictures. Here are some of mine.

I would truly encourage anyone that was considering the Wishes Desert Party to do it if they are still offering it. If they offer it next year, we will definitely take advantage of it.

After the party we decided to see how many rides we could get in before the park closed.

First was Buzz. Joe and I rode together for the first time during our vacation. Turns out we make a great team! I hit the max score first. He was kinda pissed that I beat him so apparently he felt that he had to at least tie me. Well, he did.

He was so freaking proud of himself. My husband is a video game junkie. (In fact, I think he's on his XBOX as I type. lol). He told the CM's when we exited and they told him to hang on...they had something for him. I had gone outside with Jenn and was wondering where the heck he was and what he was doing. We wanted to ride again so we just went on and I rode with Jenn that time.

Joe came out with two buttons that said Galactic Space Hero and two little mini-certificates. Apparently the CM said that they had official pins but they couldn't find them so they took celebration buttons and wrote on them. It was really cute.

About that same time I checked my cell to see if I had a message from mom. Well, I did. She said that she received a call from the desk and that I should call her. I kind of freaked at that point and called her. Get this....the front desk called and said that they were returning her call and that she could move her room the next morning. She told them that she never called and that we were checking out in two days so she was not moving. They then asked her about her room and she told them that she had a bum remote, a bum fridge and the tub faucet leaked. Joe and I had been telling her all week to call but she never did. Well, the front desk sent about 4 or 5 different men to her room that night to check on all of these things. It totally freaked me out that she was there with all of those people in and out of her room. She said that she finally asked the one guy why they all kept showing up. He said that they all answered the radio call at the same time. It did not answer why they showed up several different times though. I told her not to let anyone else in until we got there.

With that, Joe and I decided it was time to head back to the resort. We didn't ride any other rides but that was okay. I was worried pretty worried about mom by that time.

All in all, we had a great time at the Wishes Party!

Hi, thanks for reading. We did have alot of awesome surprises this trip. Now I have to figure out what we can do next year!

Where is the Wishes Dessert party held? Looks like great viewing.

The party is held at the Noodle Station Secretly, it is where we normally go to watch Wishes. There is hardly anyone there and the view is incredible.

We just tried Chef's for the first time this year and actually, we went there just to see Remy in May. We ended up liking it so much that we went back again in September. The guy with the chairs scares me every time I see him.
