A Ton! Of reservations just opened up Nov-Dec!

I grabbed several that I lost last week between 1:30am-3:30am this morning. I can tell you for me this was way different than last week though. This time I got maybe 8 or 9 notifications over 2 hours. Last week I got well over 100 in rapid fire. But I didn't cancel anything to get these and have realistic expectations this time around. But seriously, if they cancel again I'm gonna lose it....

This definitely seemed different than last time. There wasn't a ton of availability and still none for some of the restaurants so I really hope these stick. But I haven't deleted any of my old ones and I have one day where I have an ADR at 5:40 and 5:45

So I got back a reservation at Skipper Canteen and it let me keep a replacement at Raglan Road about an hour later. Will see what happens. Hey if they cancel again, I get another $25 (already have $50).

I was able to get topolinos character breakfast for mid January today which was big one for my family. Seemed like a lot of availability so I was also worried this could be repeat of the IT glitch but I didn’t need to cancel anything to book so I’m optimistic. There was another thread here tracking how resort dining was having no availability in January even at places that are generally open and people suspected this also was a glitch in system. I’m hoping the sudden influx this morning is correcting that glitch rather then being a glitch itself.

They cancelled 7 on me last week which I got $175 for, and if they cancel on me again, I made 4 new this morning. I mean, if Disney wants me to work part time for them fine, but I think their $$ might be better spent FIXING their system. My 18 year could handle their IT system better than they are right now.

I'll also lose it if I have to get secondhand information from Disney bloggers again. DFB even reported that all the glitched ressies would be honored, and when they came out with an article about the automatic cancellations, I commented that I was disappointed with the misinformation because it followed what the CMs were saying over the phone to the influx of worried guests calling about their reservations possibly being cancelled. Ofc, my comment didn't get approved on their article page because it was a bit of a call-out, but it was still very frustrating that even the CMs had no idea what was going on until the following Thursday/Friday.

I was also able to get a Beaches for the week mine was canceled. Just still crossing my fingers for a Narcoossee’s for Thanksgiving dinner, since ours got canceled.

I missed a couple of good alerts while I was sleeping. They came in around 3 am. Managed to snag one lunch but we really rather get this place for dinner. There is another one that came up for dinner at a good time, but to get it I’d have to cancel something else & I’m a little gun shy of major changes as you said.

ps it seems like lots of lunch times came up, but I still haven’t seen later dinner times for MK. Did I miss them? Did anyone see later MK times?

I noticed the same, that the times I got were late lunch times (when I'd rather have early lunch or later dinner). I'm there the week after Christmas. For the most part these did not seem to be "ideal" times like last week.
