A ticket refund within an hour?

I thought I had read this a couple times before and was wondering if someone can confirm either way if this is possible. Will they give you a refund on a one day park ticket if you return to the ticket booth within one hour? I believe this might have been called a "shoppers pass" before but not sure.

I really want to get my PhotoPass+ exchanged on our arrival(non-park) day and I don't want to spend time in line on our first day in the parks if I don't have to. I am willing to purchase the one day ticket if they still offer this refund within the hour. Anyone have knowledge about this?

I am sorry to say, those days are gone.

Another case of something great being misused and Disney pulling the plug!

Yep. Once upon a time they had a shopper pass. That was free & if you did not return they charged your CC a one day pass.

This has been gone for several years.

It is theoretically possible that someone at guest relations MAY help you, depending on crowds/reasons/whatnot. We had purchased my son Carsland ears at Ramone's and had them delivered (next day) to the hotel. At the time of purchase, because they don't embroider there, we were told any shop could add his name after purchased, including World of Disney outside the park. So, since it was our last day in the park, I thought we'd just stop at World of Disney before we left (after we got the package from valet) and have his name put on. No problem.

Well, World of Disney said they don't do it, because they don't carry the Carsland ears, and they will only embroider ears they carry. I tried to explain we didn't have admission and were leaving, and had been told they could, etc. But no dice. In fact, the clerk was a little rude about it. As we were leaving, another worker, who had overheard, stopped me and told me to go to guest relations, because she was sure they could help. (She said she didn't want to get anyone in trouble, but also said she couldn't believe how unhelpful the other cast member had been.)

Anyway, I went to guest relations as she suggested, and explained the whole thing. They were VERY nice and called into California Adventure and Ramone's told her same thing they had told me the day before: they don't embroider, but anyone can do it, including World of Disney. Once she confirmed what I was saying, she called into Elias and Company and had someone come out and get me, and our ears, walked me in and waited while they embroidered (and I paid) and then walked me back out.

I know it was a hassle for them and I appreciate them taking the time and effort.

I'm glad you got help from guest relations. I'm not sure they would help in this instance but I suppose it's worth asking about. I just really don't want to stand in line on our first park day if I could take care of PP+ stuff the day before. I know, it's alot to ask if that is not their policy.

Thanks for the info. everyone.
