Wow, that is a great surprise. We stay there every year and never had that but we have had interactions with many very nice CMs there so I am not surprised. Love the BW.

We stayed here last weekend before the Podcast cruise, there was no gift. It is nice to be surprised!
Did not Jean and someone else mention a white chocolate Mickey as a Thank you, also at the BWV?

What on earth is going on at the Boardwalk?! Are they trying to make the other resorts look ungrateful for return guests.

The CM who delivered was a very well dressed waiter. I was impressed, totally surprised!

Earlier today there was cookie decorating in the lobby. I mistakenly thought the time was 3-5, I did the long walk to the lobby at 3:05.... To find they were all through, the correct time is 1-3! Well, I got my treat anyway.

Wonderful, Bobbi! It was a well dressed waiter who delivered our white chocolate Mickey also, with the same note. I think the cookies are a great idea. I couldn't bring myself to eat Mickey! Such a nice touch by BWV! I am going to miss that place.

Kind of related, when we stayed at Grand Californian in October we had a CM knock on the door and delivered us a print featuring Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Huey, Dewey and Loiue at the beach (I think there was a welcome back note attached). This was our 4th DVC stay and took us completely by surprise. Is this normal? Dunno if it was anything to do with being our 2nd time at VGF. I'm guessing it may be done at random.

Never had that happen b4, but did get a nice room on the top floor studio with a nice balcony .Don't remember the room number, but it was basically 1st or 2nd from the elevators to the left. Directly above the walkway near the arcade ( but on the 5th floor.) Perfect view & balcony.

Nice touch though with the cookies.

Yeah what on earth is going on? I won't share that a BW manager once hunted me down when I arrived in the middle of the night early, because of a storm, and demanded I go sleep in a BWI room for free. And I do mean demanded.

Yep, we got the white chocolate Mickey last July with the same type of note. I would've preferred cookies & milk, though - then I wouldn't have felt guilty chopping up Mickey (but we totally did, and he was good!!)!
