Well it was supposed to be a "One and Done" trip, so I planned accordingly - figured out how to see and do as much as possible, because we wouldn't be coming back. I had so much fun planning, I was sad I wouldn't get to do that again and I had a feeling we'd enjoy it so much we'd get the bug to come back, but when I commented to DH, he insisted this was a one time deal. Then on about the 2nd day there, he started making comments like "If we come again...", "If we ever do this again...", and then progressed to "Next time we come..."So glad to hear you had a good trip, there are some pros when it comes to Disney tips around here. Would love to read your perspective of WDW as a first-time visitor. And most importantly: Do you want to go back?
Those comments came more and more after we rode FOP. I might plan a trip just to ride FOP again! Overall, it was a great trip, but realistically we won't return anytime soon. We live near Disneyland, so we can get our fix there. There were many things we liked better about WDW and there were many things we liked better about DLR. It's just such a different experience, it's hard to compare.
That would make a big difference. Still it sounds as though your DH may have picked up the bug, sometimes it just needs a while to incubate.
