I will try to write up a Trip Report from newbie's prospective later, but I wanted to hop on and say thank you to everyone who posts and comments and gives advice. We just got back Tuesday from a fabulous trip. I studied these boards for 8 months religiously, trying to glean as much info from you experts and it all worked out beautifully. Thank you for taking the time to answer endless questions and share your tips!

Well it was supposed to be a "One and Done" trip, so I planned accordingly - figured out how to see and do as much as possible, because we wouldn't be coming back. I had so much fun planning, I was sad I wouldn't get to do that again and I had a feeling we'd enjoy it so much we'd get the bug to come back, but when I commented to DH, he insisted this was a one time deal. Then on about the 2nd day there, he started making comments like "If we come again...", "If we ever do this again...", and then progressed to "Next time we come..." Those comments came more and more after we rode FOP. I might plan a trip just to ride FOP again! Overall, it was a great trip, but realistically we won't return anytime soon. We live near Disneyland, so we can get our fix there. There were many things we liked better about WDW and there were many things we liked better about DLR. It's just such a different experience, it's hard to compare.

That would make a big difference. Still it sounds as though your DH may have picked up the bug, sometimes it just needs a while to incubate.

I've never been "one and done," but I have been "done" and then undone. Glad the board was helpful. It really can be a great resource and has helped me plan several good WDW trips.
