MeMom!!! Sorry I've been away so long. I want to read back from the beginning but wanted to comment on your last post. I love MGM at night too. And ToT is one of my favorite rides so I'm really happy that you enjoy it now too. :) Can't wait to read more from one of my favorite Disers!

Let's take a small break from Epcot and July and join us for ...

Happy birthday Bubby!

MeMom...we're BACK from WDW!!! and trying to catch-up on your trippie! Loving everything so much!!!! Especially the virtual ride on Soaring ! Pls tell me where you purchased the white mickey head plates....those are AWESOME!!! Keep it coming....I'm slowly catching up!!!

I see MeMom, even though she has a camera in front of her face.:rotfl: loved ur ToT shots.

I dont think Brooklynn will ever be Disney'd out. (You and Jill dont get Disney'd out do you? :confused3 )

No, so far we haven't had too much Disney!

Great pics my friend :flower3:

Oh, good, we're still friends.
Or, as Jill used to say when she was about Brooklynn's age, prens.
She used to say, "Mommy, we aaah prens!"
And you know what, we're still prens all these many years later! :)

that's great! i love looking at ToT pictures. there's always a couple of funny things going on.

I like seeing the different reactions, too. There are the seasoned veterans who are either laughing or doing some kind of crazy pose, and there are the not so seasoned who have sheer panic on their faces.

I love your ToT pictures too. You had quite a Disney filled year last year. Brooklyn's not even 3 yet and she's been as many times as I have and I'm 37! She is one lucky little girl.

We did have a Disney-filled year last year, and I'm already sulking because this year will not be the same. Last year, we went in October, November, and December, and this year, I'm down to just Thanksgiving. I've been pouting about it for a while now. I would love to go back at Christmas. I have two whole weeks of time away from school, so what better excuse do I need for a trip? The only thing is, I don't have anyone to go with me, and it would have to be a super-budget trip. I really have even thought about going alone for a few days, just to see the Christmas stuff and take a zillion pictures, but I can't justify spending the money just on myself. If I could talk Jill into going, I would book it today, but she can't get any more time away from work.

Check out the kid clutched to the guy who is looking scared. :rotfl:

I know! The little guy is having more fun than the big guy!

Loved your ToT pictures. I never thought about taking pictures on the ride. I think because I'm too scared about the dropping so many times. :lmao:

That's such a fun ride. I wonder what it would turn out like if I took the video camera. I may try that next time.

Nope, I really wish we would have done the tour on our most recent trip. Although, maybe it's best that we didn't. It would have been so tempting to just sign a contract on the spot, and we don't need to be doing that right now!
You guys got some great ToT photos. I thought this one was really cool:
That ride scares me like no other :scared1: but I still love it!

It is tempting to sign on the spot, but we had no pressure at all put on us. It was just 'here's what we've got, you talk it over and let us hear from you'.

I love Tower of Terror except the beginning and end, because I do no like being in the closed elevator. I have to close my eyes through that part and talk myself through it, because getting through that part to be able to do the drops is worth it.

The group shot from ToT is funny! I love the reactions on everyone-they are so animated.

All the shots you got are awesome! I have only ridden it once, and it totally FREAKED me out! I had no idea what was going to happen with it all...I was focused on survival. :rotfl2: Maybe this time I'll be able to pull off a few pics...

Did you buy the picture? I'd love to see your 'freaked out' expressions!

great update and pics.

your AKL shots are gorgeous, you see things others do not.

The TOT pic is funny.

I'm just weird, that's all, so I take weird pictures.

The picture is appropriate, for sure. I spend much time with the camera up to my face, as you might have noticed.

I laughed so hard when I saw your ToT picture and your CAMERA was in front of your FACE!!!! Too funny!!!!!

I got a kick out of it, too! It's just so....me!

Great ToT pics! Love the group shot! The boy looks scared to death! I think I was like that too when I rode for the first time! :rotfl:

I like to watch first-timers. Watching them is as much fun as the ride itself!

I think we should name that the MeMom pose. :rotfl2:

I have my own pose? Awesome! :thumbsup2

I love your ToT photos. Those boys look
5.gif
. I too laughed when I saw your picture.

What? You're making fun of me, too?????

Those are AWESOME ToT pictures. When I was looking at them, I had the sounds that go with all the different scenes in my head.

That is a great group shot...especially of you with the camera :rotfl:

That was the favorite ride of my dad, brother, and I to pose on, and the easiest, probably because it pauses for a second before it takes your picture.

I can't wait to see more...have a good day MeMom!

I did have a good day, because it was Friiiiiiiiiiidaaaay!

Too funny! I love the ToT picture. I laughed so hard when I saw the camera in front of you. You are harder to spot than any Hidden Mickey.

The Hidden MeMom book would be much shorter than the Hidden Mickey book is!

I just love the pictures on Tower of Terror... the picture with you holding the camera is hilarious. in just a few months we will be there.. yippee!!!!

Yes, we will! In one of my meetings this week, someone was talking about hosting Thanksgiving dinner at their house. I didn't say anything out loud, but I was happily thinking to myself that Mickey was hosting our Thanksgiving dinner! We're eating at Chef Mickey's Thanksgiving night!!!

MeMom!!! Sorry I've been away so long. I want to read back from the beginning but wanted to comment on your last post. I love MGM at night too. And ToT is one of my favorite rides so I'm really happy that you enjoy it now too. :) Can't wait to read more from one of my favorite Disers!

I totally understand. I'm so happy about your exciting news, and I hope it all works out just wonderfully for you all! I wish I could do the same again, and you will be so blessed by this. We'll just see you around here whenever you can be with us.

We want to hear all about it!

The Mickey plates were from the Disney Store. They started off too expensive, but I got them when they were on clearance for I think $5 apiece.

I'm headed to Alabama in about an hour to keep Brooklynn while Jill and John go to a consignment sale to get some things for her for fall and winter. I'll give Jill her present, since I won't see her on her on her birthday. The little brat will be in Disney World on her birthday! Brat? Did I say brat? I meant sweetheart, naturally. It was just a (brat) slight slip of the (brat) tongue. I really didn't (brat) mean it!

She is incredibly excited, and I'm excited for her. There's no better place to be on your birthday! She's excited about getting to spend some time with her friend, Kimberly, and her family, too. They've been calling each other as they've started their packing, so the excitement is building. She's made little treat bags for Kimberly's kids with all kinds of Disney treats in it, including some Disney dollars. She's such a thoughtful girl. I love her so much! She won't be able to do a lot of the rides on the next two trips, of course, so by next summer's trip, she'll be very ready to get on all the exciting stuff again. I'll be happy to hold the new little one while she gets to ride Test Track and Dinosaur and Tower of Terror again.

Have a good Saturday and rest of the weekend, everyone!

Enjoy the weekend with your family. I know that you will have lots of fun with Brooklynn. May the Lord keep you safe while you travel.

Your ToT pictures are great. I haven't been on that ride the last couple years because youngest DD is afraid. I always sit out with her while DH and older DD ride together...maybe I'm afraid too.

I would love to go at Christmas this year. Never been at Christmas - only in the heat of the summer. We always go down to Atlanta between Christmas and New Year's. This year DDs and DH don't have to be back to school till January 5th. I'm thinking since we could probably stay longer in Atlanta this year that maybe we could squeeze in a couple day trip to WDW. If I can get the time off I think it's gonna just have to happen! Want to join us?

Alice

I wish I had taken pics on that!! Pretty sure the second time I was just enjoying b/c the first time I was calling Matt

Even with the 500+ times I've ridden that ride I don't think I've noticed how the RnR coaster comes out of the top of the building! Pretty cool!! GREAT pics MeMom!!

Recognize anyone in this picture?

IMG_1767.jpg

:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: I will be doing that next time!!

Have fun babysitting today :goodvibes

And B.careful coming back!

Ok.so I am finally here!!! I finished your other TR and just finished this one so I am all caught up and excite about that!!!

I like seeing the different reactions, too. There are the seasoned veterans who are either laughing or doing some kind of crazy pose, and there are the not so seasoned who have sheer panic on their faces.

anna and chris have never ridden it. since luke will not be riding, i'm sure that they will ride while we watch him and then ray and i will ride together. if we can manage (depending on the crowds), i want to ride it one more time with anna and me - i already have a crazy pose in mind for us and anna is always up for crazy pictures! you'll have to wait and see!!! i hope we can manage another ride so we can do that - i know she'll want to ride it with chris the first time. we're going to DHS on a friday, 12/12, so i'm hoping it won't be too busy that day.

I'm back...from a long week of chores. My DMom was away celebrating my Gramma's 90th birthday. I was very busy keeping the house, kids, cats and work going. I am so spoiled to have a mom who helps out soo much. I had no time to DIS. :sad1: I had no free time it seemed. My DD said she will be glad when Gramma comes back and I will too. My hat goes off to all the ladies who have to do it all themselves, all the time. I feel like I need a WDW vacation. :rotfl:
Good to hear all is well.
I hope you have a great visit with Jill and Brooklynn. Drive safe.:drive:
It was nice to take a break today and catch up on your pics. I pool hopped at AKL. :guilty: I feel very guilty, but it was very nice.
I laughted at the African "Lays". :lmao:
What was with all the million bottles of ketchup? You guys must love ketchup.
Good to see your face, maybe someday you'll see me. I'm not as cute. ;)
It is my dream to see the Halloween and Christmas decorations. You are lucky to have an upcoming trip. I'll be here, waiting for the next update.

Hi MeMom,

So my son's birthday wasn't as elaboratly themed as your parties but I thought I would share the cake I made for him. I was nervous when he told me he wanted a Mater cake but I was pretty pleased with how it turned out.

No...and I honestly don't remember us even looking at the picture! I wonder if we missed that one completely... I bet it was PRICELESS though! :rotfl:

Brat? Did I say brat? I meant sweetheart, naturally. It was just a (brat) slight slip of the (brat) tongue. I really didn't (brat) mean it!

:rotfl2:

WOW! THAT'S AWESOME! Gooood job!!!!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Have a great weekend too, MeMom. Be careful driving to and from Alabama.

I was. I'm one of those people who drive the speed limit. After I get out of Nashville, I just set the cruise control and go. As early as I go, there's usually very little traffic. I made it there and back safely.

Enjoy the weekend with your family. I know that you will have lots of fun with Brooklynn. May the Lord keep you safe while you travel.

I did have fun. I laugh a lot when I am with her.

Your ToT pictures are great. I haven't been on that ride the last couple years because youngest DD is afraid. I always sit out with her while DH and older DD ride together...maybe I'm afraid too.

Alice

So you're using her as your excuse, huh? What happens when she decides she wants to go on it? Maybe you'll do it (again) with her someday, and it'll be so much fun with all of you riding together. Just think of the faces and poses all of you could do for the picture!

You will love it at Christmas, and if you've never been, you really, really should! Not only is it beautiful, but it is so nice to walk around without it being so hot. Last year, our November and December trips were just great weatherwise. I want to go just to see decorations again and hear all the storytellers in World Showcase. And the resort trees - AKL and Wilderness Lodge are awesome, and Grand Floridian is just so, so beautiful! If you get a chance, you should go!

As for the invitation, I'm fighting off doing a solo trip, because I know I can't afford that money just on myself. The summer trip took everything I had, and the Thanksgiving trip is almost here. It would have to be between a Christmas trip and the March trip with Brooklynn, and I'd rather be able to take her. If any of our trips ever overlap, though, we will definitely meet up. We go in the heat of summer, too, so it's bound to happen that we're there at the same time someday.

Stay safe while traveling over the highways, Have fun with Brooklynn! What disney movies are you two going to watch?

Well, we started out with a new video I bought her, which was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Trick-or-Treat.

Then we watched PanPan, although Brooklynn had chosen

Little Mermaid.

I told her we had watched that one a million times and to pick a different one, so she chose PanPan.

After that, she chose......

Little Mermaid.

But I told her we had watched that a million times and to pick a different one.

So, she chose Beauty and the Beast.

We had them playing in the background, anyway. We would watch for a little while and read books or play with dolls or go outside or do something else for a little while. Peter Pan actually ran through twice, and then we put in Beauty and the Beast.

I had told Jill to pick up food on the way home and consider it her birthday meal, since I wouldn't see her on her birthday. (She'll be in DISNEY WORLD, in case you didn't already know! :bday: ) While they were gone, Brooklynn and I fixed up the table with Happy Birthday cupcakes and just a few decorations, and we put out special plates and cups to have with whatever meal Jill chose.

Brooklynn was so excited to help fix Mommy's party, although it wasn't much of a party. She took her Cabbage Patch baby over to the table, held her up, and said, "See Mommy's party, Baby? See?" It was pretty cute.

Anyway, I had wanted to suggest to Jill that if there was a Captain D's nearby to get that, but I didn't. I wanted her to get whatever. (Note that we are not fancy people, and Captain D's is just as good for a casual birthday dinner as anything.) When they called and said they were on their way home, she said she was in the mood for

Captain D's! :fish:

I said that was fine, and that's what we ended up with. It was appropriate for the them of the 'party',

which was

Little Mermaid!!!!

When I told Jill that I was previously going to suggest Captain D's, she said, "Great minds think alike!", naturally.

I would think it would scare her to death that she thinks like me!!!

I wish I had taken pics on that!! Pretty sure the second time I was just enjoying b/c the first time I was calling Matt

Have fun babysitting today :goodvibes
And B.careful coming back!

I remember you calling Matt from the ride.

The strings/track loops around and ends up under the entrance arch, I believe.

I did have fun Brooklynnsitting!

Ok.so I am finally here!!! I finished your other TR and just finished this one so I am all caught up and excite about that!!!

You read the introduction and then stuck with us?!?!? Brave soul! We're glad to have you along!

anna and chris have never ridden it. since luke will not be riding, i'm sure that they will ride while we watch him and then ray and i will ride together. if we can manage (depending on the crowds), i want to ride it one more time with anna and me - i already have a crazy pose in mind for us and anna is always up for crazy pictures! you'll have to wait and see!!! i hope we can manage another ride so we can do that - i know she'll want to ride it with chris the first time. we're going to DHS on a friday, 12/12, so i'm hoping it won't be too busy that day.

They'll love it! I know you do have a great pose all prepared! We will all look forward to seeing it.

Friday the 12th will be one week away from Friday the 19th, when we get out of school for two weeks, so I'll be pretty happy on that day, too!
Not as happy as you being in Hollywood Studios, but relatively happy.

It is my dream to see the Halloween and Christmas decorations. You are lucky to have an upcoming trip. I'll be here, waiting for the next update.

I raised three alone from the time Drew was just one, so I know how tiring it can be. Rewarding, though!

The ketchup was for Kristi, who eats ketchup on nearly everything. At Whispering Canyon, if you ask for ketchup, everyone in the area brings you a bottle.

I hope you do get to go at Halloween and Christmas sometime. The decorations are great for both, and the characters all dressed up and the different shows and parades are awesome! Make a point to do both - you will not regret it!

Hi MeMom,

So my son's birthday wasn't as elaboratly themed as your parties but I thought I would share the cake I made for him. I was nervous when he told me he wanted a Mater cake but I was pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Your cake was great! Tell us how you did it? Are those Swiss cake rolls for the two rounded parts up front? It is very cute and creative! I know he loved it! What a good Mommy you are! This is the kind of thing kids remember forever. Thank you so much for sharing that!

If I have kiddos some day I hope I can be that crafty :goodvibes

Your creativity grows as they do. They bring it out in you. I hope you will be blessed to have the opportunity to make fun cakes and paper bag puppets and sing silly songs and do all the fun things that comes with having kids. There's not much greater joy in life than playing games, singing songs, or enjoying a meal with a child.

No...and I honestly don't remember us even looking at the picture! I wonder if we missed that one completely... I bet it was PRICELESS though! :rotfl:

I'm sure it was. Be sure to check it out the next time you ride. I always try take a picture of the picture, although you have to be pretty quick. It's fun to not only look at your own expressions, but those of others. And don't forget, you're out there in someone else's pictures, too, so make a face worthy of them laughing at for years to come!

I'll leave you with the next picture in my album, just so we can have a nice little Disney touch this morning.

Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone!

That looks fantastic! I too hope i can be that creative by the time i have kids.

Me too, it drives my BF and my best friend in florida crazy, anytime we're together she'd rather drive :lmao:

I did have fun. I laugh a lot when I am with her.
kids are the greatest!

You will love it at Christmas, and if you've never been, you really, really should! Not only is it beautiful, but it is so nice to walk around without it being so hot. My "niece" (my BF's niece) does the same thing, yet she's not so willing to choose another movie like Brooklynn

Brooklynn was so excited to help fix Mommy's party, although it wasn't much of a party. She took her Cabbage Patch baby over to the table, held her up, and said, "See Mommy's party, Baby? See?" It was pretty cute.

Captain D's? :thumbsup2 My mom always says even though its "casual" its still seafood so that makes it "fancy" :rotfl: (that was her excuse cause she loves seafood. Appropiate theme indeed! :thumbsup2 So i imagine Brooklynn finally got to watch Little Mermaid? :rotfl:

Have a wonderful Sunday, everyone!
Happy Sunday to you too! I cant wait to get home, its my "MIL's" bday and we're having Pina Coladas. I'm going to pretend that its a Dole Whip(spiked) :rotfl: Its a shame we dont do "themed" parties. But my BF's parents really arent into disney like that

Last night i stayed up late talking to my 15 yr old sister. Everything was going along smoothly, and somehow the topic of Disboards came up. (i think i was trying to convince her to come join) Anyways, do you know what she told me?????

Her: "well me and bubba (my 13 yr old brother) were talking and we decided that disney is gay." :scared1:

Me: "What?!? I thought u liked Disney!"

"Yea but there's nothing really to do there"

"What?!?" There's plenty to do if u 2 werent too chicken to ride the rides."

"but everyone is so happy..."

"well duh, its Disney...its the happiest place one earth;) "

she laughed. "theres all these people with camera's stopping to take pictures of everything"

"those are my DISfriends, taking pictures to share on there reports for those of us who arent lucky enough to go whenever we want like you"

"i dont go all the time"

"you cant possibly be my sister, my real sister is probably trapped somewhere in disney"

"uh-huh and i look exactly like u because..."

"i thought u liked the characters"

"i do"

"and the movies, i thought u liked the movies"

"i do"

"i thought u wanted to work at AK"

"i do"

"but u dont like disney? :confused3"

she didnt say anything

"i think stepfamily ruined it for you and bubba"

"yea, i think they did, we had to push stepbrother around in stroller (might i add that he's 7:confused3, our stepmother babies him to the fullest extent) and wait around on stepgrandmother"

"if u would've went with me, u would've had fun, but i cant go with u cause u dont ride rides"

"well now i like splash mountain and big thunder moutain"

"you do? u were so afraid before" (refreshed her memory about 1st time we rode BTMR together)

"i remember, well i like it now"

"u know what, if u didnt have Disney in ur backyard, u'd miss it. Manu was disney'd out before we left, but even he admits to missing disney. So take advantage of it while you can"

"yea i guess ur right"

Can you believe that? To think my own sister (my mirror image nonetheless) would feel this way. I hope i didnt give her too much of a hard time. I just wanted to share with u guys cause i told her that i was gonna tell my DISfriends.

Your cake was great! Tell us how you did it? Are those Swiss cake rolls for the two rounded parts up front? It is very cute and creative! I know he loved it! What a good Mommy you are! This is the kind of thing kids remember forever. Thank you so much for sharing that!

Good eye! Yep, swiss cake rolls for the front! I just layered and cut to get the basic shape, covered the whole thing with chocolate frosting and used donuts for the wheels and a peanut butter cup for the engine. Add a few gumdrops for lights and eyes, pretzels for the tow assembly, gum for teeth and green tinted conconut for grass and the whole thing came together more easily than I first imagined

VandyFan, I agree with MeMom. I am the first to admit I am not terribly creative but kids don't really care too much, they enjoy the experience with you more than the outcome! I have been working through MeMom's first TR and recently came across her paper bag pinata :rotfl2: Brooklyn could have cared less and frankly, the $20 pinata would have wound up in the garbage 10minutes after everyone left, why not use a $1 gift bag instead!

MeMom, I also wanted to say how much I got a kick out of your description of field day :rotfl: I volunteered once at my son's, what an experience. I have always thought elementary teacher's were crazy! I was a high school teacher for the past 8 years but left this year to do something else, I didn't think I could do it for the rest of my life. I have immense appreciation for how difficult that job can be! (I don't miss teaching but I do miss the kids  ) Teacher's are definitely underappreciated.

i wish i would've took pics of everything at Christmas time. i defnitly would have if i knew i wasnt going to be there this year.

Happy Sunday to you too! I cant wait to get home, its my "MIL's" bday and we're having Pina Coladas. I'm going to pretend that its a Dole Whip(spiked) Its a shame we dont do "themed" parties. But my BF's parents really arent into disney like that

Since I know we're not going back at Christmas this year, I'll be taking pictures like crazy of all the Christmas stuff while we're there in November. Supposedly, nothing starts until the 28th - Osborne Lights, Candlelight Processional, Jingle Jungle Parade, World Showcase Storytellers.... I'm going to have to choose which ones I want to do most, since they start on the 28th and we're leaving on the 30th right after lunch! I know I want to see the Jingle Jungle Parade and World Showcase stuff, so those will be my priorities.

How was the fake Dole Whip?

Last night i stayed up late talking to my 15 yr old sister. Everything was going along smoothly, and somehow the topic of Disboards came up. (i think i was trying to convince her to come join) Anyways, do you know what she told me?????

"Yea but there's nothing really to do there"
she laughed. "theres all these people with camera's stopping to take pictures of everything"

Your sister can't find anything to do in Disney World??? I think she took a wrong turn and went somewhere else, 'cause the Disney World I go to has more than I can ever get to! We'll forgive her, though - she's fifteen, right?

It's probably my fault, anyway, since I was probably the one stopped in front of her taking a picture.

The cake was great. You are sending my piece in the mail, right?

I know my kids spent hours making tents all over the house with sheets, and they had great fun with that.

We cut shapes in sandwiches with cookie cutters.

We made up songs.
Well, I made up songs, and they went along with me.

When they had chickenpox, I made chickenpox cakes - round cakes with faces drawn on with their hair and eye colors and lots of little red dots all over them.

We'd have movie nights and just all pull out the sleeping bags and blankets and pile up on the floor and watch Disney movies until everyone had fallen asleep.

We'd decorate the windows and doors at Halloween and Christmas and Easter.

We made snowmen and dressed them up and watched them fade away after a day or two, since we don't get much snow around here.

On Thanksgiving Day, we watched the parade together and ate cinnamon rolls, made pinecone turkeys, and Jill made sweet little name cards out of construction paper.

You don't have to have much money or talent to be happy with kids.
I know that to be a fact, because I had neither talent nor money!

I don't remember what I wrote about Field Day. I'm sure I wrote about what a joy it was! :thumbsup2

While I was taking the pictures of the Fantasmic sign and this

it was decided that we would see Beauty and the Beast, which would be starting soon.

I volunteered to go get popcorn and drinks for us to have while watching, so I went to get in line at the popcorn stand while the others went and got seats.

IMG_1772.jpg

This little guy was working as hard as he could to keep up with the demand.

IMG_1773.jpg

By the time I got through the line, the show had started, and the CMs weren't letting anyone else down the aisles, so I ended up standing way up at the top holding the goodies. It was hard to balance everything and take pictures, but with putting the popcorn buckets on the ground between my feet and setting the drinks on a concrete support wall, I managed to still get the following.

Before the show starts, I'd just like to insert this picture of shoes I could not wear at Disney World.

Those were attached to the lady standing in front of me while we were all standing watching Beauty and the Beast.

Little town, it's a quiet village,
Every day, like the one before...

Gaston is so conceited!

Don't I deserve the best?

IMG_1776.jpg

Pleeeease! I'd rather read a book upside down and backwards than go out with you, Gaston!

IMG_1778.jpg

IMG_1779.jpg

I think some yummy sweets will help us all feel better!

IMG_1784.jpg

I never dress up to do my dusting, but it does seem to be working for you girls!

IMG_1785.jpg

I love the colorful costumes in this show. (That's me, not a performer. ;) )

In real life, I think these dresses are the prettiest shade of pink I have ever seen, although this picture doesn't even really do it justice.

IMG_1803.jpg

The hairdo, however, is possibly not the prettiest I have ever seen.

IMG_1786.jpg

Cogsworth: We're having a great time!
Beast: Why did that girl show up here? mumbling to self : It's hot as firecrackers inside this outfit.
Mrs. Potts: You're covering me up. The audience can't see me!
Chip: You're all cracking me up!

IMG_1791.jpg

Lumiere: Let me shed some light on this. You better make the best of this opportunity, mister, because not too many smart, great-looking girls come out here in these deep, dark, deserted woods to deal with a hairy ape like you.
All: Yeah, what he said!
Belle: I'll just stand over here with my back turned to you all while you talk about me.

IMG_1793.jpg

She's my girl!
No, she's mine!
Whack! Bang! Pow!

IMG_1799.jpg

Never mind, that's Batman.

Anyway...

I love you, you hairy beast!

IMG_1800.jpg

IMG_1802.jpg

I really love you, you handsome hunk o' man!

Let's go get dressed in our beautiful clothes and dance for all these nice people.

IMG_1811.jpg

Gaston never got his girl, but he was at least polite enough to show up for the party.

IMG_1812.jpg

I think he had his eye on one of the dancing cupcakes!

Okay, that may not be exactly the way the show played out.
I had heard rumors that this show is closing and Aladdin was taking its place, but I haven't heard anything about it lately. This was maybe a couple of months ago? (I can't remember.) Anyway, we love it, and if it stays, great, because Kristi and her mom want to see it in November. If it is true, I'm sure we'll enjoy Aladdin just as much. We'll see what happens.

The show ended, and I gathered up our treats - watered down drinks and popcorn - and met my people at the exit.

Sulley fussed at me because I had not made it back in time and he had had to sit through the show treatless!

IMG_1813.jpg

We like to get the popcorn buckets and mugs as souvenirs. We use the buckets for crayons and toys and assorted other things.
We use the mugs to drink from....duh.

Enough craziness for one evening. I hope you all had a nice day, up until the point you started reading this! :)
