Before the show starts, I'd just like to insert this picture of shoes I could not wear at Disney World.

erica and i took pictures of people with non-disney-world-friendly shoes on too! you will see them later in our report. WHAT were these people thinking?????

Gaston is so conceited!

that's why i love to hate him. he reminds me of several of my neighbors who have this expectation that the wife is supposed to stay home and take care of the kids and the man is supposed to go hunt. seriously. i DO live in georgia! anyway, they just CANNOT believe that ray told them that if one of us were to decide to stay at home with a child one day, it would be him because i make more money. they were SHOCKED and appalled. they also can't believe that i actually voice my opinions either. it's really very sad.

sorry. i will get off my women's lib soapbox now. i'm really not that bad. they just get my blood boiling and gaston reminds me of them.

In real life, I think these dresses are the prettiest shade of pink I have ever seen, although this picture doesn't even really do it justice.

we definitely differ in this opinion. those pink dresses remind me of pepto bismol! but i'm not a "pink" kinda girl. it's just not me. it looks good on others though. if i'm wearing pink it's usually fuschia.

every time i see chip i will always remember the time he fell on stage and couldn't get up and i almost peed my pants laughing. chip holds a special place in my heart.

you know, i LOVE beauty and the beast. love it. but if you really think about it, it IS a very strange story. i know the moral is to look past what someone looks like and find out what's inside of them because that's what matters. but he's a HAIRY ANIMAL!!! that's just.......different. but maybe that's why belle is my favorite princess - because she has the courage to be different!

Gaston never got his girl, but he was at least polite enough to show up for the party.

i thought he was dead. it's the ghost of gaston!!!!

Okay, that may not be exactly the way the show played out.

I thought that was a great explanation of the show

I had heard rumors that this show is closing and Aladdin was taking its place, but I haven't heard anything about it lately. This was maybe a couple of months ago? (I can't remember.) Anyway, we love it, and if it stays, great, because Kristi and her mom want to see it in November. If it is true, I'm sure we'll enjoy Aladdin just as much. We'll see what happens.

Oh Dawn will just DIE!!! This is her very favorite and we didn't get to it this trip

Fantastic take on the show. Don't you just love doing that? It's like watching Mystery Science Theater. (I think that's the name of the show) Or like watching an old Japanese ninja movie with english voice overs.
Those shoes were TOO cute! I couldn't wear them to walk all over Disney, but I have to say that wedges are easier and more comfortable to walk in than regular heels. Can't wait to see Dawn and Erica's photos of shoe.

BATB Is my Faorite Disney Movie. I can still recite the entire movie. The show on Broadway was fantastic. I also love the one at DHS.. I only was able to see it once though b/c I am obsessed with the thrill rides.
Those woman's shoew are too funny.. I don't understand how people can wear platform sandals when they are going to be walking all day... to each his own.

Hi MeMom and crew! Ive been away for a few days...hubby didnt get his visa in time for his flight and is still in the states. We spent 5 extra days together! I feel so blessed! He will be on his way to Iraq tomorrow night. I loved the update and the pics! Looking forward to the next chapter!

Since I know we're not going back at Christmas this year, I'll be taking pictures like crazy of all the Christmas stuff while we're there in November. Supposedly, nothing starts until the 28th - Osborne Lights, Candlelight Processional, Jingle Jungle Parade, World Showcase Storytellers.... I'm going to have to choose which ones I want to do most, since they start on the 28th and we're leaving on the 30th right after lunch! I know I want to see the Jingle Jungle Parade and World Showcase stuff, so those will be my priorities.

When they had chickenpox, I made chickenpox cakes - round cakes with faces drawn on with their hair and eye colors and lots of little red dots all over them.

sounds adorable...would make me want the chicken pox again just so i could have a cupcake...well then again maybe not

We made snowmen and dressed them up and watched them fade away after a day or two, since we don't get much snow around here.

im sure i'll get my share of snow this year...i'll make one for you

Glad you got to spend time with Brooklynn this past weekend! Did you ever watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Trick-or-Treat? That is a current fave at our house! So much so, that I can now sing all the songs and I had never seen the show before! Ha!

I also have a picture of someone's unwise shoe choice! I only got one picture, and I only really noticed it because I was sitting down at the bus stop at Pop. I pointed them out to my sister and she was like I am definitely not a fancy shoe kind of girl, especially at Disney!

I would never where those, but she'll have some nice calf muscles after a long day at the parks. I saw a lady one time wearing stilettos around Magic Kingdom.

Checking in very quickly to say k_reile has her new baby boy, Caleb, at home with her, and all are doing fine. She reports Caleb had jaundice and needed a little extra time in the hospital, but they're home now. He is a healthy 9 pounds, and she will be posting pictures when she gets the time.

Congratulations to you all!!!

I think Caleb is worthy of three dancing bananas - one for mom, one for dad, and one for him.
