A Ten Day Ride on A Magic Camel - Almost Finished Trip Report

Sunshine Seasons looks delicious!!! I must make it a priority to eat there on the next trip -- especially because that key lime pie looks delicious!

Glad you liked our movie. We just saw it for the first time as well. My only complaint is that they don't show a lot from our end of the country but it is fun to watch it all around you and to listen to Martin Short.

I want to be shopping in WDW tonight. Art of Disney looks really neat. Key lime pie is my favorite too. We Canadian's love you MeMom

I can't wait to go to Art of Disney. Thank you for posting so many pictures. It gives me ideas of how to spend my money next time.

Thank heavens for youtube when you need a Disney fix. I think you'll enjoy the minicot thing. Come back and tell us what you think.

I LOVED the Minicot thing! They really did an incredible job, especially with one of the kids doing the part of the pilot. :goodvibes

Your Epcot pictures were great. Now that I'm older, that's my favorite park. I can't wait to hear about Le Cellier. I'll have to live vicariously through your report, since I don't think we'd ever go there, due to my little sister not liking meat, and being a picky eater besides that. Good thing there are so many other good choices at the World. ;)

Cute things I didn't buy.

We would be eating here for the first time on this trip.

I have one of these pink bowls! and a matching mug too!
Hubby has the red bowl and mug!

We loved Le Cellier - def. one of the best meals on our trip!!!

I love the Soarin' pics! I am going to have to take some ride pics this year, they are so fun. Did you see the hidden Mickey in the snow?

hiddenmickey.jpg

I read about that one on another website, I hope I can catch it when we are there too-it's a toughy!

Love all your shopping pictures-as always! :goodvibes

Great photos!

Thank you, ma'am!

Since I am shopping, but not buying, I will take the first picture you showed in the Art of Disney for my office/guestroom and the pink bowl with Minnie on it to eat my cereal out of each morning.

I do my house work by listening to a Disney CD, depending on what mood I am in, there is nothing like "Whistling While You Work".

I put on Live365 every morning at school while I'm getting all my stuff together, and I often have it on at home when I'm doing mundane chores. Hearing park music from parades and rides just makes the chores a little less boring.

I keep asking myself why I didn't buy one of those cute little bowls to eat my ice cream from. Maybe in November...

More great pics!! We saw the Canada movie too. I loved the new version with Martin Short.

Cathy

They showed some beautiful places. I think I saw declansdad and pooksma driving to work in the film. :) I waved at them, just in case it was them. :wave2:

Great pictures! I love the Art of Disney pictures! It is one of my favorite place to browse...I just wish I could afford a few things from there! Cute picture of John and Jill in the phone booth! :)

I would like to have more money to get Disney art, too.

I always love your photos. :goodvibes Glad you enjoyed visiting "Canada".

I'm glad you like the pictures. Stick around, because there are hundreds more to come.

That chicken smelled so good, and Jill and I have had it on a different trip. It tastes good, too!

Glad you liked our movie. We just saw it for the first time as well. My only complaint is that they don't show a lot from our end of the country but it is fun to watch it all around you and to listen to Martin Short.

We've seen it twice now. Once with drunks (during F&W Festival), once with normal people. It was good both times, but definitely quieter the second time.

I'm pretty sure I saw you guys in the movie! ::yes::

You were in that car
on that road
on that snowy day.
Remember?:rotfl:

I want to be shopping in WDW tonight. Art of Disney looks really neat. Key lime pie is my favorite too. We Canadian's love you MeMom

Aww, shucks...thanks!

The Key lime pie was not as good as others I've had. I would most likely not choose it again. It looked better than it tasted.

I can't wait to go to Art of Disney. Thank you for posting so many pictures. It gives me ideas of how to spend my money next time.

There are hundreds of things to want to buy in Art of Disney stores, so I hope you're saving a bundle! Be sure to come back and show us what you end up with.

Great pictures I enjoy touring epcot with you!!

We're about to hit Morocco in a minute.

I LOVED the Minicot thing! They really did an incredible job, especially with one of the kids doing the part of the pilot. :goodvibes

I know. Wasn't that something?

Try to get your sister to go to Le Cellier just once, just to say you've tried it. They have great mashed potatoes, and the pretzel bread was awesome. She could eat all the non-meat stuff. I think your Dis license will expire after five years if you don't do Le Cellier during that time.

I have one of these pink bowls! and a matching mug too!

I'll probably end up getting one next time. Every time I look at the picture I think how cute they are.

I wish we had been hungrier when we went to LeCellier, because I would have appreciated it more, I think. I loved the pretzel bread, liked the cheese soup, and would have probably loved the creme brulee if I had gotten it.

great photos. I love Epcot.

I hope you get to love Epcot in person very soon - feeling better and with no rain!

I love the Soarin' pics! I am going to have to take some ride pics this year, they are so fun. Did you see the hidden Mickey in the snow?
Love all your shopping pictures-as always! :goodvibes

I didn't see the Hidden Mickey. Thanks for sharing that! Be assured, I'll be looking for it next time.

And I love taking the shopping pictures - as always!

Now, hop on your camels - we're moving on to Morocco!

Well, you better park your camel, because I don't think he's allowed in the shops.

Morocco has

purses.

And unique clothing.

IMG_1239.jpg

Pretty tile fountain, which always comes out crooked in my pictures.

IMG_1240.jpg

That is the best picture I've gotten to date.

And just for Brooklynn, Morocco has

water.

IMG_1241.jpg

We walked through the museum part, which we had not done before.

Details in ceiling and decor.

Brooklynn saw some people she recognized, so of course she stopped to visit with them.

IMG_1247.jpg

How about a hug, little dog-eared one?

IMG_1249.jpg

Mommy in pitch-yer?

Okay, Mommy will be in the picture.

Signing out from beautiful downtown Morocco.

Have a good Sunday, all! We'll visit more of World Showcase tomorrow.

Somehow, I've never seen this spot in Morocco before. It looks so neat. Really great picture Memom. Looking forward to more of the world.

Cathy

Morocco is one of my favorites in World Showcase. I'll have to go through the museum part next time because I've never done that before either.

Adorable Aladdin pics!

Ahhh, Morrocco -- my personal favorite of the World Showcase countries -- I can spend hours there just soaking in the atmosphere!

great update and pics

it is so pretty there

I understand. You're stronger than I am. I want to look at every picture of everything. I didn't pay attention, and I may have asked already, so forgive the lapse of memory, but are your dates crossing with Jill's?
You did ask me already. I dont think I answered you. Its my fault, I`m sorry. :flower3: We are going to miss Jill by about a week. We arrive on the 15th-20th(my birthday!) I get to wake up at Disney World on my Birthday!!! We also leave on my birthday. but we wont think about that..:guilty:

Who knew you could visit another country all in one Sunday? Thanks for that vacation!

Thank heavens for the Dis...and Epcot!

you guys met the same aladdin i did in may! he was really nice.

love the pics, as always. i'm off to do disney packing!!!! :dance3:

That's neat that you recognized him. Enjoy your Labor Day laboring over Disney packing. What a delightful chore that is! (I don't really say delightful in real life, but it sounds okay in writing! ;) )

It's at the end of the little side path where the characters come out.
I hope your family is having a nice day (hopefully) off!

Adorable Aladdin pics!

I'd like to do the special tour that Morocco has. I've heard that they have special CMs that, for no extra charge, walk you around and really tell you all about it. Something the Moroccan government put into place or something like that. I've read that they do it, but I've never inquired. I will ask when we go in November.

Cute Aladdin pictures! Looking forward to seeing more "world."

I'm looking forward to being back in the world! Not 'til November, but every day is closer.

Ahhh, Morrocco -- my personal favorite of the World Showcase countries -- I can spend hours there just soaking in the atmosphere!

Me, too! We need to get everybody together and do a big old girl trip someday!

great update and pics

Yes, it is! I hope you are feeling good enough to see it soon.

Bummer on both counts - that you and Jill don't get to meet AND that you have to leave on your birthday. Was that a "have to"? I got to spend my 50th in WDW, and I get to do it again (52) next summer!

After Aladdin and Jasmine, we turned and went back toward the International Gateway and found good friend, Belle.

IMG_1252.jpg

She was so sweet with Brooklynn.

There wasn't anyone else waiting, so she took her time with her.

IMG_1253.jpg

IMG_1254.jpg

Brooklynn asked, "Wha-ya Beas?" (Where's Beast?)

IMG_1255.jpg

Belle told Brooklynn he was back at the castle.

IMG_1256.jpg

She was such a sweet Belle - so gentle and tender.

IMG_1257.jpg

Isn't she just the perfect Belle? I just love the way the girls who play the princesses are so sweet with the kids.

After our visit with Belle, we headed out the back gate. We had decided we would try to get in at Beaches and Cream.

It would be nice to be at an Epcot resort and just walk out the back and be home.

What a beautiful lobby this is!

IMG_1258.jpg

Sandcastle as we were walking down the hall toward the pool area.

IMG_1259.jpg

I'll put all the Beaches and Cream pictures together in the next installment. I think there are too many to add to this.

Jill called and said they're almost here, so I'm going to go start the burgers.

I love the Belle pictures!
And not to brag, but it is very nice to stay at an Epcot resort.
