Thanks for the photos!
I see a lot of great things in those shop pictures.
Some hats for Jacob to choose from. A rice krispie cake for Hannah.
And I'm just happy to see the parade.

Thanks for attempting the Mary Poppins shot!! I have soo many lol I even have video from 2006 (our frist trip to WDW in 10 years) where we're watching the parade and I didn't know she would be in the parade (pre-disboards nicole) and you can hear me shout *gasp* MARY POPPINS!

Happy Tuesday MeMom!!!! I loved the pictures from FW so far---especially the boat ride over there--fun!

I have to comment on John's shirt though---it is a Bluegrass Games shirt---being from Northern KY, I spotted it right away since I spent my childhood playing at the Bluegrass games---how did he get it? Does he have a tie into KY too? Just wondering! Have a good day, Jen

He is from Western Kentucky near Paducah. he did play in the Bluegrass games a couple of years.

Isn't that the hat box that Lady came in at the beginning of Lady and the Tramp? :confused3

I hail from the North---Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area. I live close to the Cincy airport---which is in Hebron, Kentucky!!!

I've been away from disboards for several weeks and boy did I have some catching up to do on your TR!

First of all, I am so sorry to hear of Drew's accident. I can't even imagine how incredibly frightening that was for all of you. I will pray for his continued recovery.

Secondly, I loved reading all of your updates! There are just too many things to comment on, so I will keep it brief and just say that I really enjoyed reading them all!

Are you guys getting excited for your Thanksgiving trip yet? I know I am usually going crazy with excitement over a WDW trip at about 60 days out! Of course, I realize that others might be a bit more sane than me... :rotfl:

Boy, you take the best shopping pictures ever MeMom!!!:goodvibes

all those candy pictures made me hungry, but I mustn't eat this late.

Those treats look soooo yummy! Those are some HUGE Mickey Rice Krispies too--I wonderhow much those cost?!

I love the shopping pictures and the signs for the rides that you took! Looking forward to more...

Good Tuesday to you to MeMom! :flower3: I have the answer to the picture question, but don't want to be too much of a goober and answer it. :rotfl:
I do, however, want the giant Mickey Mouse rice Krispie treat!! That think was like a cake!!! Holy Cow

That Mickey Rice Krispie bar might be a good thing for me to bring back to my class. I bet they would get a kick out of seeing it, and then they'd get a bigger kick out of partaking of it!

if i have a little girl one day this tea set will be displayed somewhere in her room.

apparently the rice krispie treats are now sprouting CMs! :lmao:

The tea set is cute. Do you picture yourself with a girl, or do you picture yourself with a boy? I guess I see you having a boy, just because I'm used to seeing you with Luke.

OH! OH! I KNOW! There's a chef on top of the treats in the seconds picture!!!

YUM!!! I want one of each of those treats right now and it's only 6:35 a.m.!

I love that Alice in Wonderland tea set! So cute!

She was down in the case getting a treat for someone, and I was just snapping away. I noticed it when I was going back through pictures and just thought it was kinda funny.

I look forward to having a treat from Main Street Bakery in five weeks! Five weeks from today, we'll be at Magic Kingdom, and we'll be having dinner with Colonial Mickey and Minnie at Liberty Tree Tavern.

Another great update. I love all the pictures. I will have to live through your pictures as we had to change our dates for our vacation. However I am not too sad as now we get to stay at the Wilderness Lodge.

That's great that you'll get to stay at Wilderness Lodge. I would love to get up for my morning photo walks and be able to walk around those grounds or go sit by the fireplace. I would feel like I had really come a long way in life to be able to call that place home for a trip.

Enjoyed the pictures! It was a nice start to my morning, as I have Parent/Teacher conferences until 7:00 tonight. I am catching up with my students. This is my last week of maternity leave and I have to got back to school on Monday! I'm lucky to have had 3 months to stay home with my little ones, and glad I have a job to go back to, but I/m still not ready to go back!!

I hope you survived your parent conferences. We had to stay last Tuesday and Thursday until 6:45.

I'm glad you got to have that time off. I know it will be hard for you to go back. I would be happy being a stay-at-home mom for the rest of my life!

Thanks for the photos!

There is pretty much something for everyone there. I've got more shopping pictures coming up in the next post, whenever I get to that.

I'll check with Julie (SwansLoveDisney) and see what she has in mind. We're flexible, since we'll probably just be in Epcot most of the day.

I love that movie, too! Wanna share your video with us? :)

THere's a hat in the second one.

Correct.

And under the hat - a CM.

And in the CM's hand - something scrumptious about to be served to a lucky Disney guest.

Isn't that the hat box that Lady came in at the beginning of Lady and the Tramp? :confused3

Jill says she thinks yes. I'll just have to go watch Lady and the Tramp again - for the sake of research!

I hail from the North---Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area. I live close to the Cincy airport---which is in Hebron, Kentucky!!!

I know nothing about Kentucky, but I have a friend who has lived there for years. None of the places he's lived in sound like big towns though - Morgantown, Olaton, and Cromwell, the best I remember.

I've been away from disboards for several weeks and boy did I have some catching up to do on your TR!

First of all, I am so sorry to hear of Drew's accident. I can't even imagine how incredibly frightening that was for all of you. I will pray for his continued recovery.

Life has been very busy in the past few weeks, and to be quite honest, I have not been able to be really excited about the trip like I would really want to. I have spurts of time where there is a lull in the action, and then I allow myself to think about it. I know I will enjoy it when we get there, but there have just been several kind of stressful things going on around here, so those, unfortunately, have taken over the bulk of my thoughts. If life was more normal right now, I'd be my usual insane self when it comes to Disney planning.

Boy, you take the best shopping pictures ever MeMom!!!:goodvibes

Thanks. There will be more soon.

all those candy pictures made me hungry, but I mustn't eat this late.

Yep. You don't want to get all sugared up before bedtime.

Those treats look soooo yummy! Those are some HUGE Mickey Rice Krispies too--I wonderhow much those cost?!

I don't know the price for a big Mickey bar, but if it's not outrageous, I may bring one back for my students. I think they'd like sharing one of those. We'll see.

*************************************

Okay, I do have time to put up a few more shopping pictures. I know I have five weeks to finish this report before we leave, so I need to keep moving.

I may bring this friend home with me from our Thanksgiving trip. He looks like he's asking to come and live at our house.

For declansdad, who likes Donald.

IMG_2249.jpg

I'm sure Ma would be very jealous of all the attention Dad would get when wearing this shirt.

I finally bought my cat one of these.

IMG_2250.jpg

I'm sure his water is tasting especially magical these days.

Last picture for this morning.

What is your heart's desire? I would very much like to make a wish or two or ten and have it/them come true today. How about you?

I do think Eeyore would be greatly cheered up by coming to live with you!

My heart's desire? Hmmm, there are some big ones, but I would settle for a stroll down Main Street. If not that, then I would like more sleep. :rotfl:

You think you would like more sleep... less than five decent hours last night.... I know he will start to sleep, but you have to wonder when?

When you least expect it -- and then you will jerk awake in the morning and rush in to make sure everything is okay -- that's what I did with both of mine. :goodvibes

That is so adorable! I just love the Jim Shore pieces!

I finally bought my cat one of these.

IMG_2250.jpg

My cats have those dishes, too! They're so cute!

I just love looking at all of your shopping pics!

I love your shopping pictures---you find so many neat things that I am sure I have seen, but have never paid more attention to......and now I have MUCH shopping envy!!! You have made my souvenirs list begin to grow quite rapidly!!! ;o)

Those KY towns definitely sound like smaller Southern towns---I'm not too familiar with that area---being "Northerner!!!" I live in large Suburban area that is less than 15 minutes away from Downtown Cincy----so we get the great benefits of living in a large city, with the beauty and serenity of Suburbia!!!! It is a GREAT compromise!!!

I like your cat's water dish. I don't have any cats, but my daughter's favorite movies used to be The Aristocrats. I have probably seen that movie as many times as you have seen Peter Pan. Maggie also had a Marie beany that she carried around all the time. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
