A Surprise fit for a Princess...A Pre-Trip Report

Hi everyone! I'm about to put up my final installment of my TR. I was going to try and stretch this out for awhile, but I have a new PTR to start! I want to thank all of you sooo much for reading! I've had a lot of fun sharing our adventures with you. I hope that you'll all join me when I start up my new PTR!

Last Day

January 30th

We slept in until about 8:30am and it was chilly and rainy. We didn't have any parks to go to that day, but we were planning on going to DTD. So, we warmed up our other cinnamon roll and did our Epcot puzzle. That was one hard puzzle!!! It was nice to relax that morning, but I was miserable. I was not happy that this was our last day. I was teary eyed most of the morning and my wonderful family was doing all they could to cheer me up. I sure do love them!

The rain had stopped so we headed out to DTD around 11:30am. It was still a bit chilly, but it was ok. We had amazing weather all week. It was very strange for us to be in Florida and see people in jeans and hoodies. That was a sight to see! Madison got a bunch of pressed pennies and we did plenty of shopping. We bought more Mr. Potato head pieces, 2009 stuff, a scrapbook and magnets. We decided to go to Design-A-Tee and let Madison make her own t-shirts. She picked a pink t-shirt with Marie from the Aristocats on it. She then put her name and WDW 2009 on it. Very cute! We had to wait 2 hours to pick it up so it was time to get some lunch. We weren't in the mood for anything at DTD so we left and went to a Subway down the road.

When we returned to DTD, the shirt still wasn't ready, so we wandered around. Once we picked up her shirt, we left and went back to the hotel.

When we got back, we decided to do out MK puzzle which was again, quite challenging. We also packed up as much stuff as we could (not fun). I was not looking forward to going home AT ALL!! However, I was looking forward to going out to lunch with my uncle. We met at the Olive Garden and had a very nice dinner. We only get to see my uncle at Christmas, so it was nice to see him again. We stayed at the restaurant a little longer than we anticipated, so we went straight to bed when we got back. We had to be up early for our flight home the next morning.

January 31st

The worst day ever! There is nothing worse than leaving the most Magical Place on Earth!! You see palm trees when you're taking off and then land seeing pine trees and snow. Not my idea of fun. My mom picked us up from the airport and took us home. It was very nice to see our little kitties, but I still missed WDW. I'll admit it. I was sad for the next few days. It's always sad when something that you've planned for months is over so quickly. But....I have something new to plan for!!!! I'll be sure to post the link to my new PTR soon! Thanks for reading!

What a nice relaxing last day. I too am so sad it's over. LOL!
I'm working on my last full day at WDW on my TR too, and it's so depressing. LOL! But it was fun. I get sad when I come home too.
I've decided though I want to start working on my photography more to keep my mind off of it, so next year if we go, my pictures wil lbe even better. LOL!
