I ride it around sometimes. Sometimes I hit old hags blocking the aisle. :confused3

As long as they're leaning on the basket, it's okay to hit them. :thumbsup2

I am not sure of the purpose of this thread :confused3

Anyway, I have to use a walker due to an accident I was in a few months ago, and if somebody doesn't like the way I shuffle down the ailse at Walmart, they can kiss my skinny hinney!! :joker: :sad2:

I so agree with you. I mean really, if the sight of my pregnant behind bent over a cart trying to get the shopping for the week done.....is cause for someone to be offended......all I have to say is, get the hell over it!!!! :)

I'm always amazed at the things that bother people. I mean, who really cares?

Hmm.. you're expressing your opinion about others expressing theirs. :dance3:

Wow. You might look nice on the outside, but I think you are very ugly inside.

A bit harsh and uncalled for.

It is my opinion and I am entitled to it. Not everyone can be as beautiful as the OP might like them to be. It sure must be hard to be so attractive, thin and have such great posture and manners. It must be hard to be so fab.

Thanks though!

Tracy

I guess this is why I shop Peapod. I don't have to observe other people's shopping habits and they don't have to observe mine. Plus it stops me from dropping boxes of lime jello in other people's shopping carts.

Completely OT- but on grocery store cart etiquette, how many of you step on the back of the cart and ride it down the little ramp on the way out of the store? :goodvibes

and then across the parking lot!!

Put me in the "don't care" camp. :thumbsup2 Couldn't find a smiley for trollin' (or one for "just an observation" :rotfl: ).

:lmao:

Or if you're my husband, you drop other hilarious (to him) things into our cart while I am not looking... :rotfl:

Yes you are BUT this:

Wow. You might look nice on the outside, but I think you are very ugly inside.

is a direct and personal attack of a fellow DISser and is NOT TOLERATED on these boards.

Then what ever you do, don't look at the "Am I out of line" thread about a woman and her step-daughter, because that woman is being called all kind of things on that thread! :scared1: ;)

Where??? Where?????

I must be one of those people who bothers the OP so much. I can appear to walk perfectly normally for about 4 or 5 minutes (long enough to get into the store) before my sciatica and pelvic arthritis start up with the shooting/burning/stabbing pain, at which point a cart to lean on for a few minutes is a welcome relief. Sorry if my "ample" behind isn't attractive to you, but I'm sure your holier-than-thou stares aren't too attractive to me when it's almost too painful to even go buy my kids some milk.

Never mind, false accusations. :teeth: I could have sworn I saw all kinds of nasty stuff going on on that thread, but after reading it I can't find anything except pretty good advice. Sorry. :bitelip: :teeth:

I admit it...that's me leaning over the cart with my butt sticking out. I usually stop at Starbucks before heading to the grocery store, and leaning makes it easier to steer while drinking my latte. Sorry but the caffeine is more important than my dignity ;)

that was me 2 weeks ago, but since I got my new knee last week, I hope that I can once again join those of you lucky enough to stand proud at your shopping carts.

Such a tease!!!!!

Well I am only about 10 lb overweight and I too will bend over the cart once in a while. That is because I'm tired from running all around town or more often from being at the gym working out for two hours! I have a bad back and it is nice to be able to lean on something while doing my sometimes daily grocery shopping.

I really don't pay too much attention to how other people push their carts in the supermarket. I'm too busy with my list and coupons and making sure I don't forget anything to be worried about how someone else walks down the aisle.
