A "super" E-Ticket comming to Tommrowland?

Now that the FLE 2.0 plans have been officially announced a new Super E-Ticket attraction is supposedly coming to Tomorrow land in either north of Space Mountain or the parking lot behind CoP.

I guess TDO has over 100mil left from the FLE budget and is going to use it exclusively for an E-Ticket, this would suprise me as how greedy TDO is.

Well, $100mil isn't a whole lot of money when you figure the costs of theme park upgrades. I doubt DHS or AK could get the kind of TLC and expansion they need for that money.

On the flip side, FLE is increasing the capacity of MK, and $100mil could go a long way towards a nice attraction at the park to help "eat" the crowds that do show up.

MK is WDW's Cash Cow. I would much rather see them allocate the $$ to AK, DHS.
Unfortuanally all of these other big rumored expansions at AK "BK, Aussie", DHS "Monsters Inc, Car's land" all seem to be just fantasy’s for the next 5-7 years.


From what I heard is that this project in tomorrow land is green lit and will open 2013. It will be announced within a year.

They recently took out the Galaxy Theater stage to expand that lot, seems unlikely they'll take the lot away.

I find it hard to believe that there is $100 million "left over" from FLE, considering they just added a coaster, while only taking away M&G areas.

As for expanding at MK or at DHS/AK, there are two philosophies:

1) Expand at the smaller/less utilized parks to draw guests there

2) Expand at the crowded park to add a people eater because you CAN'T draw the guests away.

I'm all for a major expansion at DHS, but one ride won't do it.

Is this the supposed Project Z? I think on WDW Magic they were talking about it being in Adventureland or Tomorrowland.

Still, I would welcome an e-ticket... anywhere on property. They could put it at Downtown Disney for all I care, as long as it's not another darned Omnimover ride or princess attraction.

Also, the idea that this isn't announced and ground hasn't even been broken yet... but will somehow open by 2013 just shows how slow the FLE is really progressing.

I'd actually really like to see a Tron ride. Its fresh, and could do real well in tomorrowland. The fact that if this is possibly e-ticket could ensure it being an attraction, or it could be them bring elecTRONica to florida. either one id be fine with to be honest.

I'd love to see a loop coaster based on the light cycles/solar sailers in the new TRON movie. That could be pretty amazing if done right I think.

yeah that was my thought open by 2013! on how the FLE is moving along at a snails pace if this is "green lit" this project would be 2020 in “TDO” terms

I have not been on WDW magic I may have to check it out a good friend of mine who lives in Orlando clued me in on this one.

He has been spot on with other rumors before reality

TRON would be a great E-Ticket. I did not hear the Tron part but it is suppose to be a super E-Ticket costing 100mil.

TDO is going to build more DVC's by the MK is the reasioning for these expansions vs DHS and DAK-just my thoughts.

I think an E-Ticket attraction in Tomorrowland would be prudent. They may coincide the announcement with the 40th Anniversary of MK. I just hope they don't mess around with Carousel of Progress or take it out. It's a nice tribute to Walt Disney.

The next movie in the Tron series is apparently pretty close to getting the green light.

If Disney is serious about making this a legit multi film franchise...it would make sense.

Any clue in when we can expect this to be announced? From what I am hearing an announcement is comming soon, with construction starting this summer.

I am hearing once "TRON" and FLE is done 2013-2014 Adventure Land will get an upgrade.
