Pam, that is soooooooo beautiful! I'm so happy for you both!

Thanks, I'm very happy with the location too! I'm excited!!!! I can't wait to go on the 23rd and take pictures of the room we'll be in! There are 2 different ones that I can choose from for the amount of people we are having.

Love all the updates! The holiday photos--TFS! Everyone looked so happy. :) Love the new wedding location--so pretty! We thought about getting married outside too but it did not work out for us. I am glad you were able to find something you liked and fitted with what you wanted!! :goodvibes

The elusive 40 inch mark. I hope my DD will hit that mark. She is really close and we still have eight months and she will be wearing shoes too. ;) She is just over 38 inches and should have another growth spurt by then! :thumbsup2

Free Dining: I talked with my TA, she believes Disney will be making another annoucement sometime in end of March/beginning of April since that is when the current special offers end (booking date). Here's hoping the announce free dining!! :cool1:

Pam, the wedding location is gorgeous! I had a blast planning my wedding! I bet the girls are helping in all of your decision making! It will be extra special for your kids to experience this with you!

:)Just followed you over from my pre trip report
Congrats on the upcoming wedding, your location is gorgeous!

Veronica

Pam, those pictures are great! I'm so glad that now you can have what you really want-- an outdoor ceremony-- rather than settling for less!

Hey lady, i'm here and seem to have a lot to catch up on! How exciting that you are having an actual wedding! Wish you were gonna be going a few days earlier in September! I'm all subbed up and ready to read!

I really want an outdoor ceremony, I now have the place set, I am just praying that it does not rain.

I hope your dd gets a good growth spurt going on too. I'm so excited to now that we won't have to have anyone sit out for most of the rides.

And my fingers are crossed for free dining!! That would be the best deal for me.

Oh, yeah, they are so excited. They can't wait to go pick out their dresses.

Oh that is going to be sooo pretty!!!!

Have you decided on a color yet?

My colors are going to be dark blue, silver and a little bit of red thrown in. We wanted a 4th of July theme, but not anything "tacky" The little red that there will be will not be like a fire engine red, but something darker.

Hey, glad to have you here!!! I know, I am excited about all of the planning I get to do!
And I know, I see we're going to just miss each other in September. Bummer. Well, at least we can wait and plan together.!!!!!!

The pictures of the wedding venue are very pretty. The wedding will be beautiful there :thumbsup2. The countdown to your wedding is going by faster and faster, how exciting :banana:. I love weddings.
All of your Christmas pictures are so nice. Christmas is always so magical through the eyes of a child.
I took my Christmas tree down earlier than I usually do, I was kinda getting tired of it.

Pam,

The wedding venue is absolutely beautiful. I can see why you fell in love with the place.

I hate to even imagine what weddings cost now-a-days. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in August, 2009. We thought about renewing our wedding vows but decided to spend our anniversay in Walt Disney World instead.

You are getting the best of both worlds....a wedding AND Disney World!

Tired of the Christmas tree? I wish I could leave mine up all year. :)

No apologies necessary, that certainly was the perfect Hannah Montana moment.

:lmao: we have that quite often here as well!

:) We do too!!

My poor girls are sad today. Our parakeet, chiclet, which we had for 6 years, since right before Sam was born, died yesterday. I feel so bad. He was such a cool bird. He had a personality like no other. We could do things to make him dance and move his head up and down. He was so neat and loved when the kids were at his cage talking to him. When they would walk away he would jump to the farthest point of the cage and look for them :guilty:

Emily does not want to talk about it or hear his name. And Sam keeps drawing little birds and writing Chicky above it. That's what she called him.

I told them that he knew we loved him and explained to them that animals do not live as long as people do.

I promised them that we would get another bird. So in a few weeks, we'll be doing that.
I am allegic to cats and dogs, which is why we get attached to little pets like birds and hamsters.
We had hamsters, fish and lizards in the past, but chiclet was our buddy:littleangel:

Other than that we have been reading the Kingdom Keepers!!! I think I posted pics of these books that I bought the kids for christmas. They are about a couple of 14 yr olds being in the MK! I don't want to say much in case anyone wants to read them but they are cool. There are 2. We already finished the first book, Kingdom Keepers after dark, and now we are on to Kingdom Keepers, Disney at Dawn. They are for ages 10 and up, and there are quite a few difficult words in there, so I decided that every night we would sit together and I would read to them. They of course love that, and I like the book too.
JUST A WARNING: If your reading these to kids that still believe Tinkerbell and Mickey etc are really tinkerbell and mickey, there are a few parts in the book where it says that the cast members were dressing up in their Mickey costumes :scared1: Luckily I caught that before I read it, cause lizzie and Sam would have been like..... what  The kids love the fact that the book takes place in the MK, they talk about all of the rides and parades.

oh, I am soooo sorry about Chickie. I know how it feels to lose a pet as we only have currently (wait, I have to count......) 14 pets!!! I hope the kids know that he's in a better place and that no one will ever replace him in their hearts. :littleangel:

Aw Pam, I am sorry to hear about your bird dying. Maybe the kids will adjust easily and will be satisfied with another bird. I'll keep them in my prayers.
