My DS is 8 and in the second grade. The last two years I have sent in disposable cameras with him the last day of school so he can get some pictures of his friends. It is very intersting to see things through their eyes. :) I put one of his address labels on the camera in case it gets lost. Tomorrow they are going on a field trip and I have a camera for him. This way I can get pictures from events I don't attend. :)

Just another way to get more things to scrapbook.. :)

My DD is 14 and she is camera happy she always has her camera in her pocketbook so when she feels the need or the opportunity arises she can snap away.

I did this with my dd for field day this year. I was unable to stay for the whole thing so I left her the camera to finish up so that I could share in her whole day with her.;)

That is a great idea! :) My son is only in Kindergarten right now and thankfully I have been able to attend all the parties and field trips this year, but I am sure as he gets older, he won't want me there much! LOL

Great suggestion!! :)

another idea-
never mind special occasions -
I sent in a disposable with DD - 8 on a regular day to use at recess- what a great way to see her friends through her eyes! (including a few 'self' photos)
