Your post got me thinking though-meal planning is so important when we have a lot going on-and can be one less thing to stress about if we have a few good options on hand. Here’s our topic for Tuesday:
What are some of your favorite quick and healthy options for meals?
One of ours is a rotisserie chicken, a salad or steamed broccoli (my grandson likes to dip his in ranch dressing) and baked beans or rolls for everyone not watching their calories. Another is steamed shrimp with a salad, corn and a crusty roll. While the seafood department steams the shrimp I make a salad and call home to tell my husband to put the water on for the corn. Watermelon or cantaloupe for dessert-if my grandson is with us, I buy those small cups of ice cream for him as well.
