I am still out of work and will be going back this coming Monday. I will share these with Mom when she is on the Ipad later. She will love them too.

I briefly interrupt this report to bring you THIS :lmao::lmao::lmao: don't even know how I found it but I have tears streaming down my face.the dogs think I am nuts for roaring out loud ...you have been warned...I will NOT be responsible for new monitors or keyboards if you are drinking anything OR chairs if you chose not to take a potty break first .;)...

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Let's see....

#6 - Farts so loud it wakes him up? That's my Eddie

#18 - Eats rabbit poop? That's my Mom's dog Izzie

#29 - Pees on his sister at least once a week? That's my Alex

Didn't see one that applied to Sierra. She needs on that says "I'm mean to my blind brother, I bite him on the rear end then run away".

Good morning Ruthie! Hope you are having a good day. I'm finally almost caught up on everyone else's TRs & PTRs so I'll probably do an update on mine this afternoon.

I am so glad she will get to see them....so funny :thumbsup2

Hi, sorry I'm late. ;)

Okay, so I am a mush ball lately. Lots going on here, but sufficient to say I am approaching 51, and ah.... mid life is upon me. Yes, I have a point... I teared up when I saw the photo of you with Pluto on one side & Fred on the other.

The resort sound amazing. I would have an issue with no bath. (even though I feel the need to deep clean them myself.).

I'm so happy Chef Mickeys was a hit & Mickeys BBQ! I have never seen personal pictures of the Mickeys BBQ. That looks awesome! I think M would lvoe it.

Sorry, I have been MIA. Still need to post my pic of Mark's anniversary gift. lol I'll get to it....eventually.

Dee

You goof ball :upsidedow it was terrific to talk to you yesterday....I KNOW your family especially Little Miss DD would love the BBQ ! still waiting to find out what you got Mark

You know, I have always been intrigued with FW. They have those really cool cabins there, right? I love it! Isn't that where Chip 'n' Dale host some kind of marshmallow roast as well? We definitely need to check it out! If we ever manage a WDW Thanksgiving trip, I will totally let you know! :thumbsup2

Willow would have a blast and so would you ! I tell people all the time that FW is a terrific place and yes there is the nightly movie and roasting marshmallows ( making s'mores ) and its open to everyone, you don't have to be staying there

What I really like is there is a hay/ride sleigh ride depending on time of year, and the horse trail rides..no galloping or anything, Willow is too little for that right now but its so relaxing, I love a first thing in the morning ride you can see pretty amazing deer right up close to the trail I never liked Hoop-Dee-Do dinner show there but that seems very popular ...stop me I could go on and on :goodvibes

I'm back and all caught up!

So happy for you that Fred finally made it home! The hotel looks wonderful. It would be a great choice if I ever decided to stay off site.

I am so jealous that you got both Big Al and Pluto at the BYBB!! Big Al is pretty close to Pluto as a favorite of mine and as far as I can remember I've never met him. I would have been in heaven to meet those two!! Oh and the food and entertainment looked great too.

I kind of skimmed over the comments so someone may have already posted this. The second Country Bear is Wendell. He sings "Mama Don't Whip Little Buford" along with Henry who is the MC bear.

Glad you're back ! When I saw Big Al I had to take pictures I remember you saying he is a favorite of yours Thanks for telling me who Wendell is I certainly remember him

Let me tell you though I was wishing for a can of Febreeze He must have been in hiberation too long and needs to get out more When he pulled me in for a hug I was like :crazy2: & thinking "holy crow bear air yourself out every now and again" :rotfl2:

As far as the motel we loved it and it was close....as long as its clean and close thats good enough for me, can't do the on-site prices for a while, more about that in update below....

Hope you got some rest! Can't wait to hear more of your story!

Wow you are definitely working some hours. When we get together during the marathon weekend we have to get over to the Fort. You have to show me everything that I am missing. It has been so long since I have been there.

Yes I did get some rest and yes I am working a LOT so glad for the opportunity I know by now that it always takes about 7 to 10 days from the time Fred is home on down time and when he goes back on the road to get a decent pay check

Since he will be home for Christmas, :cheer2: first time in years together by the way, I am willing to work as many hours as I can grab Not only to keep ahead of the bills but to be able to actually DO something....more on that coming up:)

So when I left off it was over at the BBQ and we had a great time, except for not having leftovers..always a favorite part of Thanksgiving to me I think if we can both be off again next year I definitely want to do this again I'll still cook a turkey though

Now it was about 7 pm I had something in the back of my mind all last week but didn't say anything Since Fred had technically still been working this morning I wasn't sure if he'd want to do anything tonight Maybe too tired ? Get your mind out of the gutter ....that's NONE of your business .....;):rotfl: What I wanted to suggest and he was willing was........

It was opening today and we love the AMC theater at DTD so off we went...parking is a mess down there due to all the construction but if you're smart ( and of course have a car) it can be done We parked way over on the side of Cirque and it was a short walk over to AMC

I was afraid it would be sold out, they still had tickets available for the 9:30 I think but only the 3-D version I wasn't sure about this as 3-D can start to give me a headache after just a little while ( Muppets Mickey's Philharmagic Tough to be a bug) I love these shows and can watch them but they are just long enough Could I really tolerate it for a few hours ?? :scared:

All I can say is WOW WOW WOW I won't be a spoiler for the movie OR the short before it " Get a Horse " ( hysterical and amazing technology) but IMHO there is no other way to watch this movie except 3-D ! Some of the scenes were breathtaking and would have been "flat" without it 3-D glasses have come a long way baby, I was fine with "Real D 3-D" as its called ....go see this movie :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I could have sworn that I commented on the Backyard BBQ! It looks like so much fun and I'm so glad the two of you were able to spend some time together!

It was really so nice to spend time together we only had one " snippy" exchange with each other and that was trying to follow mapquest to the hotel..we were both tired & hungry and mapquest stinks..took us about 30 miles out of our way :sad2: I'm driving and he kept pointing out McDonalds EVERY one he saw because that was given by the hotel as a " landmark" :rotfl: like I said he mentioned EVERY one of them we passed in a 50 mile radius and not because he was hungry but because he was convinced we were there even when we were clearly NOT in the town of Kissimmee where the hotel was Funny NOW not so much then, but quickly over it on both of our parts when we finally got there :thumbsup2

OMG those were so funny :rotfl2::rotfl2: Have to send the link to my DD. Good Morning Ruthie. How is everything up that way?

Again glad you're here Ed I missed you Happy we actually got to talk this morning crossing my fingers for you getting up here soon :thumbsup2

Going to catch up with you and everyone else TR very soon, hopefully today will certainly try....the dogs :rolleyes1 it was a trip down memory lane for me for some of the dogs here too, especially the " I ate Christmas " and the " pee on my brother" I have given tons of baths over the years due to this silliness

Next up, Chef Mickeys....27th anniversary breakfast..day after Thanksgiving ....lots of pictures will take several posts Will do what I can today :hourglass

/
WOW 27 years and they never would have believed it we actually made it...shocking and miraculous all rolled up ! and how do we celebrate such a momentous occasion ?? and how do we dress ????

Why matching PLUTO football jerseys of course !! and yes I did get another Pluto Christmas Pluto that I fell in love with and was surrounded by when I went to Osborne Lights remember ? and of course Pluto backpack came along for the ride so it just makes sense Pluto shirts because that's who we are :thumbsup2 and it really IS the anniversary date ....November 29 1986 ...not that there is anything wrong with celebrating on a different date at WDW, we've done it MANY times but with this trying & learning year it just seemed more wonderful to actually celebrate the actual date :yay:

and "Chef Pluto" loved all his likeness stuff.....I heard a rumor that it will now be called Chef Plutos ;)

Silly Dog :p

You missed my response. :(

Teasing you.

I can't wait to see Frozen...hopefully this weekend.

LOVE the photos from Chef Mickey's and you and hubby look so cute together.

Ruthie, we are back from our trip, and I just caught up on your thread. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pictures at Mickey's Backyard BBQ. These pics gave me the biggest grin ever!

I DID miss it because I went off on another vein....just like Russell...shiny....and off I wander :upsidedow :flower3: I'm glad you got back here and are keeping up.....me I have MUCH to catch up on and I will I promise ! I have tried I know Nikki surprised you at WDW and I hope Mark & you are feeling better and HEY are WE ever going to meet ??

Just realized we are NOT wearing matching Pluto jerseys..I am Fire he is ICE...oh that explains Sooooo much :lmao:

Chef Mickey's looked like fun! I need to get back there someday soon. Silly dog indeed!

I absolutely loved Frozen. We saw it in 2D though, I can handle 3D for a short period like the films at Disney but it really gives me a splitting headache when watching full length. Jim even loved it enough to say that he might go a second time to see it in the theater. I sometimes try to see them twice since you miss stuff the first time. I don't think I will this time because I want to see Saving Mr. Banks and the Hobbit which both come out soon.

Nice pictures at Chef Pluto's. But.....does this mean you're changing your DisName to LuvChefPlu?

I'm back. Sorry I never called you back. I will. Dr. appointment went well, but was sent for tests. no big deal, just time consuming. Now Miss M. is ill.
Regarding Mark's gift... photobucket is constantly giving me a huge issue lately. ever since I deleted some old photos. I keep trying and it keeps not letting me on, IF by chance I actually get on, it won't let me do anything. So, I will see if I can get the picture on some other way.

I love you photopass picture at Chef Mickeys! You two look awesome! So, happy you were able to enjoy your day together.

Will catch up with you soon.

Trust me Ariana 3-D has come a LONG way I did not get a headache & I always always do, it was like wearing sunglasses that I forgot I even had on after a few minutes The effects were unbelievable I'm looking forward to Saving Mr Banks too

Nice pictures at Chef Pluto's. But.....does this mean you're changing your DisName to LuvChefPlu?

More shortly Pio...changing my user name  no way we have been going to Chef Mickeys for about 25 years ? Couldn't do that But LuvChefPlu is adorable  good thinking !

Aw I understood, you're busy and not up to par, I'm not going anywhere sweetie Hope you are ok and poor Miss M please give her my love

Photobucket was giving me fits too, then I went for the " buy more storage" $8.99 a month and all has been well..may be an option ? The " Photopass picture" when you first enter Chef Mickey ? NOT Photopass that's my new camera that I Love Love Love and even more as I am learning how to use it...when I get to the Epcot part of the report you will see a picture I took in France that I think shows what I mean Love to you all ! TTY when you can

So continuing on, we had a lot of attention that day We always have great character interaction especially at this restaurant no matter how busy the place can get The characters see the love we have for them & keep coming to the table Sometimes I think they want a break and would like to join us I would have no problem with that :) But it was our anniversary and it was announced and acknowledged We did feel very special and so blessed to like each other again :lovestruc

Next post the food & a few more pics at Chef Mickey then some bouncing around to check out the beautiful Christmas decorations LOVE WDW at this time of year especially

Ruthie, I love the photos at Chef Mickey's...especially the smoochie picture. :)

There's a funny back story to that picture Kathy It was taken right after the pictures with Pluto when we first sat down again He kept hanging around ( YES you can come home with us sweet doggie :goodvibes ) and our waitress brought out the celebration cupcake Pluto would be very good at playing charades as he kept hugging himself and making licking motions encouraging that kiss :rotfl: it was fun to comply !

Your new camera must truly be amazing. That is awesome. I mentioned before I love the pictures thhis new camera was taking. Btu, I never guessed it was that camera that did the CM photo with the plate. :)

Love that Pluto was a luv bug that day. You & Fred look great!

Okay, off to TRY to catch up on other reports too.

Hi Ruthie! Sorry I fell behind a bit - I have been working 11-hour days all week and several hours a day on the weekends with a bit due date on Tuesday. Can’t wait until THIS is over. Really puts the brakes on the Christmas preparations. :( Anyway…..

We did Thanksgiving out this year too. And the leftovers thing is a problem. Luckily, this was our second year eating out on Thanksgiving day, so I was prepared. On Friday, I did a low-key version of Thanksgiving with a turkey breast, stuffing, potatoes, and then we ate that the rest of the weekend. Best of both worlds! :woohoo:

I COMPLETELY agree with you about Frozen and the short! We went over Thanksgiving weekend too, and we were blown away. The short was one of the best things I have ever seen in a theater! And we all (my mom went with us) loved the movie! I’m really hoping that Elsa and Anna are still meeting at Disneyland when we go next month.

I LOVE your anniversary dinner pic with the CM statue!! FABULOUS!!!!

And the Pluto pics!!! So cute. It should be Chef Pluto’s! So glad that you had such a great anniversary at CM. We really enjoyed it too on our trip. Just a really fun place.

Thanks for the info! Wilderness Lodge is actually topping my list for our next trip after our wonderful visit there to eat at AP. I am thinking that would be the perfect location to take time enjoy all these things!

Ugh, reading about horse riding makes me all wistful. I haven't done it in years, and I love it so much. When I was in high school, I spent a year living with a family in Australia who had basically a cattle farm. They had quite a few horses, and we would actually go out and muster the cattle on horseback. I loved it so much! Of course, I also just loved riding out there on my own whenever I felt like it. Just such an incredible thing - as you well know. I miss it!
