Unleash the Villains: Friday the 13th in September 2013 is a special day, so Disneyland park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are staying open until the 13th hour (1 a.m.). Maleficent, Captain Hook, Jafar and other Disney Villains host a dance party, complete with limited-edition collectibles and other nighttime mischief.

It will always be MGM Studios for me. That sounds like a fun night just to go in and watch all the people going crazy. New camera in hand of course.

So I get a UPS express envelope at my door yesterday and it had a smiling
Mickey face on it







ME ?? I have been leery of this since the get go, but a letter
with Pluto and Mickey looking so joyous All right boys if you're both THAT excited I'll give it a try !!


This is going to either be really really good or really really bad


I'll admit it, once I got to the website to " customize" my Magic Band I felt kind of giddy ( doesn't take much to make me happy ) Can you guess which color I picked Pink, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow or the " generic" battleship gray I'll bet you CAN guess


Before this arrived I had already done the on-line check in at AoA and after a simple phone call it was verified I could still be a test guinea pig at POP ( had decided to go there again for a few reasons) while on the phone with the CM and on the computer Mickey magic my on-line check-in magically changed to POP ! Right before my eyes..... the power of the mouse

So I will be going back to POP ( Aunt Mary doesn't care ) and I have
DDP ( first time EVER )

Hmmm I'm hoping we have duplicate Plutos that the other needs and trade too

I do have a few duplicate Pluto pins but I don't think they are anything special or rare. I'll have to dig them out and take some pictures so you can see if you are interested in any of them.

I won a set of those Pluto pins off of Ebay!! Got them in the mail yesterday along with a Pluto ashtray that caught my eye when I was searching for the pins.

Eddie did well with his teeth cleaning and lump removal. He just has a few stitches in his side so he's day boarding at my vet's this week so he stays out of trouble. When I took him in this morning, one of the techs that wasn't there yesterday said, "Eddie's back again with more stitches?" My poor baby, he's been through a lot in his twelve years. The vet sent the lump off to be tested but we won't get those results for about a week.

I am so jealous that you got picked to do the Magic Band test! I want to try it in October but it doesn't appear that CBR is going to be included in the October testing. The bands are going to be almost necessary during my Feburary family trip because we will only be in Epcot and HS in the afternoons. I was hoping to test them out in October so I knew what I was doing during the big family trip.

I just hit 60 days till my trip!! I need to check in but I can't decide between the Casitas or the Cabanas for my room request. I stayed in the Ranchos in 2011 so I want to try a different section this time. I like the look of the Cabanas better but I'm worried about the bus situation since that is the second to last stop for pickups. Ah well, there could be worse dilemmas than which section of a Disney resort to request!

for the auction win aren't they great pins ? Pluto ashtray how did I miss that but if I couldn't get it I'm glad YOU did Oh I did see it ! $8.99 very very cute !

As for what area at CSR the whole place is gorgeous but particulars I couldn't guess Maybe Dee (Deesknee) can better tell an opinion when she comes back..some of her family is staying at CSR ..actually I think that part of the family is already there

I wouldn't rule out being a MM+ tester its early yet you never know it could happen I sure didn't even think about it and then there it was but I am only 2 weeks out

I would love it if you put the duplicate pins in your bag when you come down I will do the same, never know we could both end up happy

Hi to your DH hope he is doing well

Now Eddie I pray everything comes out with excellent results The waiting can be horrible but I will say extra prayers for him Lately I have been more watchful of Fantasia too, to the point of I think she would like to smack me ! I am constantly checking her for lumps/bumps etc my poor Princess Gray Face I really am being annoying to her I think she is relieved when I'm not home

So I thought I would share a photo of the Pluto ash tray that I got. I wonder if they sold this in the parks at one time. I could not imagine Disney selling ash trays now a days!



Also, here's the extra Pluto pins that I've got. Only three and like I said, not really special or unique.

I LOVE pop century! We've stayed there several times and the 50s building is right across from AoA so it's a win,win!

Why I picked Pluto yellow of course ! still trying to figure out my days re-running home for animals which takes a lot of time, finding time to check out AoA which I'd really like to take pictures of, and my 2 ADRs Pool time is also on the top of my list this stay as I wanted to but never got in the pool at all last time and it sure is HOT ! Not sure even which rides I can do at this point yet physically 2 days are wonderful gift but not enough hours in the day

I know I am not interested in any FP+ space for a parade or show to me thats silly, may be a God send for others though So answer: not yet I am very curious to see how it all works though with entering park, room, and purchases and more importantly how I can tolerate wearing it I usually don't even wear a watch

I'm sure the ashtray was available in the parks at one time Heck I'm sure I have old matchbooks somewhere from restaurants too from decades ago Re- The pins for some reason I thought you had a lot of duplicates, so no, you're right I have those too I'll see if I have any unique duplicates and happy to pass it on I really have to get organized one of these days

I have stayed there MANY times since it opened..I can't seem to get away from the place I am waiting for when I check in and see a small bronze plaque on the 50's building with my name on it I have only stayed in the 50's I don't think I would love it as much if they ever put me in another decade bldg I love my quiet ! When I did the checkin online with CM on the phone to change the AOA checkin I put in several requests early checkin late checkout and 50's first fl when asked the option of give up early 8 am checkin for another bldg I politely declined Magic Band pink for you yes I can see that So how are you feeling Ruth still working crazy long hours ? Please say hello to your DDs from me

Retirement will come soon, a year flies by quick Have you any idea where you will be staying next year ? I wish you would do POP I would plan on a few days there at the same time I know you loved POR/POFQ but I couldn't afford that I look forward to spending time with you again
