Wonderful food, character interaction, GREAT company and Happy Birthday Dear Pio's DH !!

Back in 2010 my first Dismeet I have talked about one of the Dissers that was there did a Mickey shaped sign in the lime green, and we signed it I sort of took that idea and ran with it with the Halloween Theme I love it

Same answer to you as to Pio, that tri trip meat was like butter melting in our mouths you were busy cooking couldn't exactly be taking pictures right

Once upon a time there were a group of people that " met " on the Disboards Eventually one person brought another into the fold, a Dismeet was planned for October 2013 and So without further delay

I love that you all did this signature poster. We've done them for graduations, wedding showers, baby showers, etc. since...well as long as I can remember. But for a dismeet is such a wonderful thought. I don't think we have ever done one just for a get together. AWESOME one too!

First to meet wasFran & Alison at Theme Park Connection A Disney based warehouse of sorts
They had been at the D23 Expo in CA and I understand Fran and Alison scored quite big with item Me, I have been dealing with them over a period of time on eBay and had gone to their warehouse a few times This was a definite " go to" and so we did ! Instant connection with Fran & Alison at Theme Park connection picture previously posted but now it will make sense and picture of some of the goodies I scored there The shirt brand new with tags $38.95 their price $8. !! If you can EVER get to this place its a MUST they have things that are out of my price range but most things are really pennies on the dollar I got a popcorn bucket...I don't need a popcorn bucket but for goodness sakes its PLUTO ! A few Chef Mickey items, more Pluto pins, and Merida bank...all total LESS than the shirt would have been if purchased at WDW after this we went our seperate ways, they to lunch and shopping for supplies Hugs/Kisses all around " see you real soon at ( up next) Cape May for Breakfast with some of the others

Oh, my K is going to be very jealous of this Marie shirt! Better not wear it when you finally get to meet her, she will most likely "take the shirt off your back". Not really, but she will admire it.
We have got to get to Cape May one of these days. Boy, I'm going to have to stop reading these TR's I am beginning to realize how many places we still haven't been too. After over 17 trips, how could we have not eaten in so many places?! Well in all fairness, we used to cook in the room alot. Now, not as much. And we did like to go off site to eat years ago. (still have to do a couple of those. So, I guess it is not unreasonable that we have missed so many.

I have some pictures from the cookout It was a great night and I hope anyone else who was there and has pictures will post them

The planning was great and everyone chipped in either cooking or shopping PIO wanted a cake to celebrate DH birthday She ordered it through Publix planning events The contact person there Lori was so nice & very generous She didn't like the way the writing turned out on his name and so went above & beyond like a Disney CM and gave us 2 cakes for the price of one It was delicious I would order a cake from that Publix located in Celebration again with not a seconds worth of hesitation

I have PIO cooking her fabulous shrimp & rice dish It was so nice to hang out while she did this and spend some time talking and catching up on things Once again living local I got the leftovers I was extremely sad when it was all gone PIO I need the recipe I don't have a picture of Alison cooking her famous Tr-Tip but I got a picture of my plate...I could cry when this was gone too! Next time you come I want you to buy this cut and bring it to me I thik I would have gotten more pictures ordinarily but between talking eating and okay honestly having one glass after another of Alisons FABULOUS wine I was just all aglow and fuzzy feeling, looking back I guess I'm lucky I have these Next Update MNSSHP !! and YES the day Ed and I FINALLY met

How do you think I feel Kathy I am salivating just remembering what it all tasted like and there is not a damn thing in this house to eat except Jennie-O brand Turkey hot dogs and 80 lbs of dog food I picked up yesterday PIO has ruined me I can never eat a rice dish like this again store bought, actually I can't think of ANY restaurant that would come close to this dish We MUST get the recipe...darn her ! and Alison's beef like butter melted in my mouth ! Oh well I only have to hang on until tomorrow morning eating at BOMA breakfast with yes another Disser

Ruthie - so glad you got some pictures of dinner. And yes I totally agree! PIO can you please message or post the recipe to your shrimp and rice dish? DH really enjoyed it as well and I never got to try it.
