I am back at work today. It was a soft re-entry.

I LOVE this camera a real no brainer I may never touch the settings Aw work it must seem strange going back after so much time ?

SO...I was SUPPOSED to meet Ariana ( Pluto0809) & DH Jim this morning for breakfast..Did that happen ? Did we like each other if it happened ? or were we shy awkward and " eh " about each other ? IF it happened ???? not so fast not so fast IF I tell you then I am jumping all over the reports again and seems to me the next thing in this ongoing installment should be the Sept meet more pictures with Ruth (sewmess) and her DH Cale...Right ? Okay I'll give you a hint if it happened.........

I'll pass on your hellos to hop-a-long. He had his knee surgery two weeks ago and has been stuck at home since then. He's in pretty good spirits, considering.

As always, love the picture of Maxine - although she does kind of seem to be giving you the "What are you doing now?" look.

Oh my goodness I forgot to ask about Cale ( bad friend bad friend ) tell him I'm sorry & I send prayers & a big hug....re-Maxine yeah I was getting the look as you can see she was standing next to EMPTY buckets and that was her top priority she is SO undernourished isn't she...so neglected

Yes we did meet and it was wonderful. I think they were ready to kick us out of the Pepper Market since we couldn't stop talking. And Ruthie was so kind to drop us at Fort Wilderness for our Segway tour so we didn't have to do bus, boat, bus to get there. Thanks again Ruthie we really appreciated it. The tour was awesome and we just had the best time at the HDDR. Can't wait to see you again on Thursday!

Nah they weren't going to kick us out of Peppermarket it wasn't that crowded and our server ( what was her name ? ) was very attentive but if I accepted the amount of coffee she offered I would have floated all the way home so much better than the guy at 1900 Park for my birthday

so YES we hit it off right away will give details but not now so glad you had a great segway tour Silly,,,, of course I would drive you there perfectly good car just sitting there, as long as I made sure neither you or Jim was allergic to hay then off we went...my car is a filthy mess I felt badly about that so bottom line
Win Win another Dis friend in 3D ( or our of the box as PIO says ) and it was great...tomorrow MNSSHP

BUT until then .......sewmess Ruth & DH Cale ( who has prayers for mending after his leg surgery ) and me in SEPT 2 more pictures: that's all I have

I'm not posting much, but I'm following along! Great updates, great Dismeets. And I am so happy you didn't do anything stalkerish while driving them.

Listen Lady only your DH can refer to me as a " stalker "...nice nickname I have now besides I only stalk Pluto... usually on ebay ...okay sometimes at the parks too

Nope, that's about the only pictures we have too - except the one that will not be shared on the internet 'cause we both look goofy, and not in a good way.

The story behind that second picture is that Ruthie and I were going to have our pictures with the characters and I turn around to tell Cale something and he's over with the photographer! I start making the "come Here!" finger move and Velocp...whatever her name is (can't remember it for my life) stomps over there and gives him the arms akimbo.

The best part of the day though was sitting and talking with Ruthie about everything. And watching her stalk Pluto.

We are both so glad to have had the opportunity to meet you.

After I posted that I thought oh dear God don't let her post THAT one should have realized of course we both felt that way...next time we see each other we will print it out and burn it...make a big ceremony out of it .....in a DSA of course

That one was very funny Cale seemed to disappear in fact in my photobucket its labeled " come over here" character ..what a tough little cookie is " Vanellope von Schweetz " and YES I just had to look that up or it would keep me up from sleeping today !

I love the picture of you with Wreck-it-Ralph. So cute! And I also love the one with you, Alison and Fran. I have an Oswald black shirt kind of like the one you're wearing!

Such a fantastic meet with the Fairy Godmother. She actually looks like such a sweet person

I got to see the tangled bathrooms too on this trip! Such a cool addition and the detailing is fabulous.

Haven't met Mexican Donald duck yet, but would love to. There's always such a long line every time I see him out.

It made me so sad thinking about your camera. I tend to think about that stuff too when I realize how long i've had something and lose it. I do that with the most random things too, like pieces of clothing. If a shirt gets holes or faded, I always remember things I did in that shirt and will end up keeping it to wear around the house to do house work or yard work in.

I love the face of the step sister (in green - i never remember their names too!)

Prayers for your aunt mary and hope her recovery is quick

Our first meet Alison & Fran and we clicked immediately...I love when that happens and have been fortunate to have it happen many many times

I love the shirt for the history of Oswald in the Walt Disney story and as I have said before I love how small I feel near Raplh

The Fairy Godmother has always been a favorite meet for us over the years, she really IS a sweet & caring person When you talk to her she makes you feel like no one else exists and she really did feel badly that Pluto's 83rd birthday was largely ignored ......

.speaking of Pluto and his birthday I STILL don't have the pictures from PP from that day BUT did I score something yesterday on eBay that really makes up for it......more on that later !

I LOVED re-connecting with PIO & her DH & her wonderful son we haven't seen each other in 3 years !

Yes weird how we get attached to things isn't it ? But I am loving the new camera so its fine now

Now about those Disney shirts DH Fred & I have had many a conversation about the lack of a wardrobe for each of us We have always had jobs ( EMT, Police Dispatcher, Security, Truck Driver) that have provided uniforms We have NO dress clothes at all well except for that one thrift store find the dress a few pages back at the Akershus (?) meal that's it...never had a need for dress clothes, and always ran out last minute over the years to buy an appropriate outfit when needed

Some day soon I am going to lay out all the Pluto shirts I have acquired and take a picture, that will give you giggles, pretty much all I have in the way of shirts ...yep Pluto obsessed, but I will explain that when I talk about my eBay score item ...soon
