I was wondering if anyone can think of anything that I could bring back a small class of 15 3 yr olds... just a very small something.... I was hoping around 50-75 cents range.. any ideas??

thanks

I think my sister brought back a bunch of mickey lollypops.

I would love suggestions, too.

I would check out any of the Disney gift shops. I bought a box of six individually wrapped mickey rice krispie treats, and passed them out at my office. You could buy a couple of boxes of those. Disney has packages of stickers, which you could split up. The lollipops are good, plus you can get packages of pencils, or cookies, and split everything up. Hope this helps.

I sent postcards to my students ( 14 2.9-3yr olds) last time I went to WDW. They thought it was so "cool" to get mail at their house for them, and loved the characters on the postcards. :jumping1:

At AK in alot of the stores you can find small packages of Mickey Mouse shaped pretzels.. When we went 3 yrs ago they were .50 a bag.. when I went back over Labor Day Weekend they are .79.. Still a great price!! They are in a bag with Chip and Dale on them..

DD was in first grade last year when we went and a very nice CM gave her a ton of Mickey stickers. There was enough for everyone in her class (17 students) and she still had some for herself. So she gave each kid in her class a sticker.

Just wanted to note to watch out for food items or talk to your childs school first - pretzels will probably be fine but many schools limit the types of foods you bring into classes because of allergies. I saw another thread that had some items as well like the straws, pencils and I think another good 1 was mickey crayons - I think they were 8 in the package??? You could also get some mickey mouse postcards and see if you left them at guest services if they would have mickey mouse autograph them for the kids - any kids would love to think Mickey did this just for them!! Also watch out for the lollies...my 2 kids aren't allowed to have any candy other than chocolate - I don't like the choke factor and lollipops are a one of the dentists worst enemies. I too am thinking ahead for while we are there in October as to what my ds can bring back for his preschool class so I am keeping my eyes and ears open...

Our dollar tree had Mickey, Pooh and Princess pencils $1 for a pack of 4. They also had character erasers (3 per pack). I am considering giving those to kids in my ds's classes.

Myself I like the post card idea if teacher doesn't want to give out home addresses which I can fully understand then just address the post cards to the school with the teacher and kids names on them.

I have cheated with postcards usually buy a few extra while at disney to send the next time I go the cards are addressed and stamped and my greeting written before I leave home all I got to do is drop them in mailbox.

Address labels could be made out before leaving home and then stuck on the post cards once at disney which would save a bit of time too.

Something cheap and the kids can save it forever if they want. No food allergies involved etc.

I asked this one awhile ago and I think the best idea someone gave me was in whatever gift you decide get 15 of the little shopping bags (just ask a CM) and put each kids gift in the bag that says WDW on it. I was leaning towards doing the pencils seeing they all are starting to write! Have a great trip.

Another idea is the large pack of character crayons. I think there are about 24 crayons in a pack and they are shaped like Mickey, Minnie, Donald & Goofy (might be others but I can't recall) and give 1 or 2 to each child. Not sure how this would work though because not everyone would receive the same exact color. Youcan ask the CM for the small bags as mentioned about and put the crayons in the small bags. You can also create your own little notepads to stick in each bag. The crayons are $12 for a 24 pack.

If they were older, I'd suggest a squished penny. Those are only 51 cents!! That would work if you could give it directly to the parents (to avoid the kids putting them in their mouths); however, it would take a while to squish all those pennies at once.

When my daughter was in preschool her friend brought back one of those boxes of rubber frogs and salamanders that you get at Rainforest Cafe and she gave everybody one

If satying onsite you could save the Mickey soaps - Mousekeeping often leave extra each day and honestly how many do you use? If they didn't clean away the open one we would just pack it away (sometimes there were several!!) and each time we bought something small would save the bag. We Bought a bunch of Mickey lollies (yes I know they are terrible but honestly most kids only lick them a bit and then chuck them - one won't hurt!! :guilty: ) and gave each of my son's friends a lolly, a couple of stickers (again, staying onsite the CM gave them out every morning in the store) and a soap. We were flying so even if we'd wanted to spend a packet there was no way we could bring back something big for everyone!

My sister found a bunch of T-shirts really cheap - 50c or something! - but make sure you buy a bit big in case they shrink! :wizard:

Goofy's Candy Shop (or whatever it is called) at Downtown Disney has all kinds of candy.

I think pressed pennies are fine for 3 yr olds, unless they are developmentally delayed. You can find a list online of all the available machines/characters/locations. I bought a few packs of the postcards, and taped one to each card. Before we went we asked each child his/her favorite character.

where do you get the mickey suckers??

They also sell them at each resort gift shop and at each park in the candy store or gneral gift shop.

Last year, I bought 1 large bag of Mickey shaped pretzels for each of my preschoolers to bring in for snack to share with their classes (about $3.00 for the bag). Everyone was pleased with this. My children were happy to have something to share, and the children in the class felt like it was a special treat. I wish I thought to grab extra napkins from the the food court. They would have been cute to serve on.

Enjoy!
