A Sizzling Hot Summer in WDW TR June/July 2025 (Complete)

Next we went back to Living with land cause my son was sad that it was closed earlier today... he really loves rides that educate u too.


My mom is just like we are doing this again....lol. Well she gets to sit soo that makes her happy.


My son is done now soo we head back to our resort. Again super quick getting on bus and to our resort.
It is our last full day soo I decide to go to the resorts gift shop and pull the trigger on some things I have been mulling amount.
We got OKW pins.

And I got the last DVC Headband!

And this cute attachment to hold my ears to on bags.


We take a nap causes again it will be a longer night again tonight. Then we eat a little dinner snack before we go. Nothing to heavy since we will be eating a big dinner later.
We then head back to Epcot. Again bus quick and easy.
We das again Gardians... my son cannot get enough of this ride!

Next we head to the Journey of Water.
This really helps you beat the heat!



My son loves this place to and making everything move. It is not to crowded since it later in the day which is perfect.

Soo we start heading to world showcase now.
We are heading to England for our dinner fireworks seating.
My son thought these were soo funny that u could only make calls from these.



I grab a seat on some steps in the English garden area with my son and listen to band while mom grabs us some drinks at the Rose and Crown.



It makes me giggle rocking out to English cover band on Independence day from them. They made jokes about it too.
But we love the music and we have drinks and we dont want to walk to far away from our reservations.

The band stops for their break. Then we head to the line forming for the fireworks dinner reservations.

They seat us and we have a great view.
We have a limited menu here that is all included....yes including the alcohol drinks!
We got the scotch egg. Very yummy.

For some reason salad is included with the kids meal... my son is not touching it but my mom eats a few bites.

Here is our view! Great seated spot of the lagoon.

We ordered fish and chips...

Look how big this is... I put my hand there as a comparison!

The fish and chips was yummy.
My son got Grilled chicken and fries (he refuses to call then fries... chips)

My son liked it but it was very limited. Soo choices were Grilled chicken or fried fish that is it... which is really sad considering the price.

They do have one cocktail drink too so got that next.




They have us move down to be even closer.
And they save our other table still. There was some drama on who sits where. Kind of funny.
Soo epcot does their normal show first. We have not seen this show yet soo we were excited. Then they end with 4th of July Fireworks.

So for the 4th of July fireworks they do their own separate intro and they shoot off fireworks from the American pavilion and in the middle of lagoon. Soo make sure u can see the American pavilion if come to 4th of July.





The ending I video tapped again... soo no pics... but wow.... it was just soo many fireworks all at once!!! Like I felt it in my soul!!! It is the most amazing fireworks ending ever!! Both my mom and my son said the best ever too!!!
Then best part we just got back to our tables and have our dessert while the crowds die down after the fireworks.
My son got ice-cream.

Sticky Toffee pudding for dessert which was delicious!

They have red, white and blue lights going on still in the lagoon. Love it.


Also got one last drink for road!

We slowly head back to the bus.
The crowds are not as bad since we waited a bit.
Space ship earth looks amazing!
Looked for a photographer and again none
Did a bunch of our own pics instead.










We headed back to the busses... OKW busses are slow tonight even though so many other busses come and gone mutiple times from other resorts soo it does take a while. But we make it back to our resort and sleep. Happy Independence Day

Day 15:
We are leaving today
Today I wanted to end with yummy breakfast.
So order pick up from Olivia's.
I ordered mickey waffles for my son and me.
And I got a key lime pie.
Such a good way to end.


I di the classic OKW picture with the mug.

We pack up.
My son has some extra energy. So we go play some games.



We go over to to the community room and take some fun pics.




My son picks a magnet to color for a craft here to do.

We go back to the room soo sad.


We moved all of our luggage down the stairs.

We say bye one last time to our home for two weeks. That is our room on the 2nd floor.

Such a great room.

We drive to the airport and as always it takes us a bit too find the car rental drop off... why is it so hard here... lol.
Then check in.
We went to United Club lounge... man it sucks here. It is soo crowded... and they are always running out of food. But hey free drinks! We did get a spot in the kids area soo my son liked the tv show that was playing.
Nothing special happened on the airplane and that is it. We are done.

Overall: This was our longest trip to disney and our first time in the summer. Soo we learned a lot. First I love going soo long... we don't have to worry about cramming everything in. We can take our time and enjoy our selves and this was great for my son and less meltdowns too. Soo if u have a kid who is on the spectrum think about long trips too. I was worried about how he would do long term but he did really good.

The heat was another worry... and yes it sucked! It was super hot. Don't let the southerns tell u it is not that bad... it is! Our personal fans around our neck saved the day. And I had a big hand fan too! The more fans the better. I also loved having a small uv umbrella. It really helps when walking around in the middle of the day with no shade and helps when it rains. Also make it a priority to go to AC places! Even if it was walking through a shop for ac. Also afternoon breaks! We loved afternoon breaks! It gets to hot in the middle of the day.

We also loved having a full kitchen. We saved soo much money being able to eat meals here. I think we did a good job saving money where we could and splurging for special times. Going to the outlets was such a great way to get merch and save money. And man did we take advantage of that 40% off deal they gave APs on some restaurants. I am soo happy we did this trip! also spending extra for better fireworks viewing during the 3rd and 4th was the best money we spent during the trip even though they were also the most expensive part of the tip.

NASA was a great little break from disney too. So highly suggest breaking up disney with something like NASA is great. Also I am happy we did July 3rd and 4th, soo much fun seeing the cool fireworks and unique disney characters. I am also pleasantly surprised how not crowded it was most of the time... during the evening when it is cooler it was the only times it was really crowded.

So we were booked near Hospital room so we got to be right next to the main building and pool area. We loved that. So we would get on the busses at hospitality since it was right next to us. That was the last stop so we went right to the parks. I was worried at first there were not be places to sit by the time it got to us but that was never a problem. Then getting off we get off at the first bus stop that is at building 26. It is pretty close to hospitality area and we just walked to our rooms from there. We would beat the bus. We did an experiment one time, where I got off and my mom stayed on and I beat the bus by 15 mins ish. Soo it saves some time for sure. I did not ever check the app for bus times. But bus times where on the tvs at the bus stops. Also we could see the busses coming in soo we may have ran to busses from our room... lol.
Have fun we love OKW 1 bedrooms. They are just soo big!

The view you have is so beautiful! We have a reservation at OKW next month, so would you be willing to share which building it is? Or at least whether it's Hospitality House category or Standard category?
