A Sizzling Hot Summer in WDW TR June/July 2025 (Complete)

We head out now to our next reservations.


We have an eat breakfast with an Astronaut!
Soo here is how big it can be but only one other family booked it. We came on such aa dead day apparently. Love that.

You get a signed Pic and coin in the package.


And food and drinks.





So we got to just sit with him at our table and chat the whole time. My son looved it! Got to ask him soo many questions. He was very good with the kids.



We looved it! This was worth every penny esp since we had such private breakfast with him.

Next we head to another simulation ride.


Super fun. Felt like we were really taking off in the space shuttle.

My son had fun with the other interactive space shuttle stuff.




Then they had a special place for the shuttle explosion.

We decided to go back and do the ride simulator from last time. We did a different one this time.


Ohh and rando pic of me... lol.


And my son said he was done soo then we left.
Another great day at Nasa. We are so happy we got the two day tickets. Today was soo less crowded than last time too. It was so nice.

We drove back nothing crazy happened.
We went back to our room.
And relaxed. We ate dinner in our room again.
And decided to get drinks at our fav spot.



Small but mighty bar at OKW.

Day 13:
Today is un offical July 4th... July 3rd at MK.
For those who don't know they do 4th of Jily fireworks on the 3rd too!!!

Again we rope dropped. And last time we went to Peter Pan today it is Space Mountain.
We see alot of people already lining up for trom even though it does not open up till later.






My son has mix feelings on this ride. He loves space and again it is a roller coaster ride that does not go upside down. Soo all things he loves. But he likes Disneyland better so he can sit next to one of us. He does not like as much being alone. So that is why my hand is stretched out so he can feel me right next to him.

Next we head to buzz lightyear cause it is super short and a family fav. My mom had to promise to my son that my mom would not spin him around to much. Lol.

Next we head to haunted mansion. Still really short only showing 13 mins which is their 5 min wait time and we have not done it yet.
While heading over I take pics in the most bueatiful wasted area ever... please disney make a tangled ride here! Or even a show... like something other than just bathrooms.





Now haunted mansion...



We skip the stretch room. Wish we could skip more of these kind of cramped spaces always cause my son issues and mom and me have to play room blocker.
And have a nice time on the ride. Always a classic.
Then next I take pics over at the liberty bell since it is July the 3rd.

I noticed a photopass photographer and asked if she had any special 4th of July Magic shots and she said she had one. So we get photos done. I asked if we could face the Liberty Bell she said she could not and instead we had our background of the presidential hall.... soo we end up not using most of the pics and use only use the one magic shot which was cool and cutt at the presidential sign.

Love getting Sam the Eagel!
We das Jungle Cruise so that is where we are heading to next.

Also saw more 4th of July decorations!


And then we saw Jasmine and she chatted with my son for a few mins.




I really just love how the characters are everywhere.

Then on to Jungle Crusie.




My son looves this ride. The cheese jokes just hit his 8 year old funny bone soo much. He laughs soo hard at everyone of our skippers jokes.

Then next Pirates was still just a quick wait so we hop over on it. Man it is not that crowded for being July 3rd.



We love this ride.
Next we debate on if we want to go on ferry or go over to the island before it closes. My son was not wanting to go on it saying it sounded boring and hot... sooo goodbye ferry.



No last ride for us.

We ended up hitting the small parade.
Always nice!

At the end of the parade we saw that Prince Naveen and Princess Tina peel off the parade and head to their photo spot. We follow them because we realize probably a short line and being July 3rd meeting the American Princesses feels right.
We only had to wait for one person soo perfect. Man do they spend time with us.
They talked about soo many things.

Including loved my outfit.

Also loved our Aulani signature book. It is very green soo fit their look.

We did our pics.

And they convinced my mom to join in.

They did an individual bye to each off us. Soo great.


I highly suggest meeting them. Soo worth it!

Next I wanted to do a castle pic and saw the photographer with no line.


So got a couple side pics. To bad no close up shots. She did soo few pics.
I also asked if she had any special 4th magic shots and she did not

Next we are getting hot and hungry.
Time for some air conditioning.
So we head to Pinocchio Village to eat and cool off.
We see Wendy and Peter Pan! They walk with my son for a min.

Again more characters!
My mom gets a table at the window to small world. I grab soda for quick service.
And we eat our packed lunch. The food in MK is not great for the price so it is great to save a little money this way.
My son had soo much fun waving at the people at the ride below.
And then a couple of teen girls played rock paper scissors with him and he was hooked! Then he tried to play with all the people below him. He was having soo much fun. He literally said it was a highlight of the trip. U got to love how these kind of little moments are what makes a trip.



We have das for Peter pan soo we just let my son play till it is up. Then head right across to the ride.



Next my son wanted to meet more characters to sign in his signature book. Soo we head over the princess area.
We do Cinderella since we already met Tina.
Cinderella is super nice. But hate the box photos they do here instead of the real photographer.


They do a surprise princess and we got Princess Elena of Avalor. She is really nice to talk to just never seen her show.


The line was short for the sword soo we hop in and still no luck for my son.



My son says he is done now... soo we head back to the resort.

Bye MK... we shall see u in a few hours.

We take the bus back to our resort.

We get back and relax. We take a nap causes it will be long night .
Then we wake up and eat dinner at our resort.
Then head back to the MK. The bus ride was easy again.
We decide to take the train over Tron. We das it before we left.
We wait up top for the train.

Fyi... the train waiting room... does not have Ac... we are getting hot

The train arrives our salvation!


The train is such a great way to go. The breeze feels soo good and we love not walking!

We get off and the Storybook Circus stop and walk the backway to Tron. Such a great way to get to tron.

Next we head to people mover. My son looves this ride. He just loves looking from above at everything and studying it all from a new angle.



The clouds look a little scary...


Next we are just wanting AC and seats decided carousel of progress time! Especially since it has a 4th of July themed in it!





The lines are getting longer... we think crowds are coming for fireworks . We das Buzzlightyear ride. And it is starting to sprinkle... eep!

When we left Buzzlightyear it is raining hard! We quickly head to our dessert party spot which is right next door.
Soo many people are hiding here. We get in the line for check in.

And adventually we get checked in.
We get a great table spot. With lovely view of the castle.

Now before I go into any more details... let's chat about booking this. It was a huge debate on what to do for fireworks viewing. My son does not do well in fireworks crowd.
We thought about restaurants that have good views like California grill but my son did not like the food choices there.
We then choose to do the dvc villians fireworks on top of the world. I called everyday right when phone opens to try and book it... they never opened up for 3 weeks and then I gave up. We book dessert table as our back up. Soo that is why we are here. Lol. And right now with the rain we are loving that we booked this!


Hey have a buffet of basic desserts and some cheese and crackers. Nothing special. You are booking this for seating and view not food.
Chocolate strawberries are my favorite!



I do love the unlimited drinks too though!

As it gets dark we see the special red white and blue colors on the castle.


My mom gets sparkling wine and the pog juice and make our own mimosas! Soo now going to do that instead of just sparkling wine.

The people next to us pixie dust us with extra glow bracelets and necklace. My son is very happy.



Before the fireworks start they said we can move our seats up. So we do.
And the fireworks start!
The fireworks come out from everywhere on the 4th! And the castle projections are minimal soo we are not missing the projections. We are missing one set of fireworks though since they are surrounding us.




This is the best fireworks at MK! The music is perfect. I did video of the finally so no pics of the epic ending. We looved it.

We slowly make our way out. They do not kick u out. Soo crowds die down a bit. We do some pics infront of the castle.

My mom did not inform me how bad my untucked shirt looks... lol.

The dj is still going and everything is still hopping.

We look for a photographer but do not see any, so sad would have loved a pic with castle looking this iconic.

And we head out of the park to the busses.
Since we took our time. The line was not to long for OKW and they had the busses coming really fast. Soo not bad at all of a wait. And we left. What a great way to spend July 3rd!! I really love that they do 4th of July fireworks twice. And we are soo happy that we had covered seats cause of the downpour of the rain.

We went to bed tried but soo happy!

What a perfectly wonderful way to spend July 3rd! The fireworks look so festive and beautiful. It sure looks like the dessert party is a great way to enjoy the fireworks and avoid the crowds, perfect for your son.

I have to say that my grown son had the exact same red and white Mickey Mouse tee shirt for his first trip in the 80s! His was from Disney World but I got such a kick out of seeing your son wearing the same “vintage style”Disney shirt.

Day 14
July 4th!
Today we be celebrating at Epcot! They have a special fireworks today!


We decide to hit up Sorin first. We were not at the beginning of rope drop... since we are a little tired from yesterday.


Always love this classic.
Living with the land is closed so we head out to the Seas Pavilion.
We ride the nemo ride.


And then have fun in the Seas Pavilion. My son can spend for ever in this Pavilion, he just loves it. We love the ac... win win!



My son always loves chatting with the cms and asking them all the questions.

We leave and I see a photographer without a line so I ask if they have any special 4th magic shots and she does!


Soo yeah!!
We das Gardians so we head over there next.


And hit our fav ride! I never get tired of this ride. Soo fun.
Next we start heading to world showcase. I want to head to American pavilion to get pics with special characters.
But first Mexico pavilion!



And we do the small world Mexican ride. My son thought it was soo cool! But he does love small world.

Next margaritas!!!!


We need this!
We drink and walk to American pavilion.
Loving our best life.
Then we make it to the American Pavilion and this is where all the peeps are.
There are huge lines everywhere. First line we jump into was infront of the Pavilions. It we went into the shorter line that did not have the special 4th of July prop but did have magic shots. Including another Sam the Eagel!





Then next time to check out the lines for the characters... classic disney characters are dressed up in their Spirit of 76 outfits.
The mickey line CMs were saying was at 2ish hours. Chip and dale line about an hour. Soo I choose Chip and Dale line. Luckliy it is mostly in the shade they are meeting in the concert area.
My mom and son go to Sam Eagel BBQ and eat lunch and sit in AC. I stand in the hot line. I do have my packed lunch soo I eat while I wait.
I chat with people around me too. Always fun.
After a long time in line it is our turn! My mom and son join me and we get to meet chip and dale into their cutest costumes!!




I loove them soo much!! this is a top fav of coming here on the 4th since this is the only day to see them in these outfits.

My mom got a 2nd drink while I was waiting for chip and dale soo I decide to catch up (and she did not even take a pic of it)
We walk past Italy and I saw something that was catching my eye! They have alcohol floats!!!


Yes please! Dessert alcohol drink treats are my favorite! I get the Bronte!
Look at this cute glass!



This is soo good. This pistachio liquor and Gelato is amazing! I got soo many questions about where I got this drink while I was drinking it.
Next we had das Frozen. Soo we got there next.




Such a cute ride. I am always singing when I am in it.
