A Simple Guide to Making an Autograph Book

What a great community with such kind and helpful people! I am using the Disney Jr. Encyclopedia book this time for DD's autograph book, but wanted to see if there were pages for characters not in it...especially Tangled characters and Mary Poppins.

That book is more like an 8x11 size, though. Does anyone know of something like this already posted somewhere? Thanks so much for any help!

I would like to request 3 autograph book covers. I need them in 4 X 6 horizontal.

On all of them I would like a Christmas background with the following NAMES 7characters:

Karstyn with Rapunzel
Tyler with Minnie Mouse
Kameron with Mater

This is the only Christmas cover that I have. If you would like something with other characters, you will need to put a request out on the main Creative DISigns board .

Okay...printed out the updated list of characters! My next question is...do you make a separate book for each park...since there are multiples of the same character at each park or character meal? Also...I see that people are asking for covers to be made...can I just save a cover on my computer and change the name? Sorry for all the questions!! I am clueless!!

We're going to WDW next week and I'm just finding out about the autograph books!! Ahhh!! This seems more overwhelming than anything I've been doing concerning Disney. Crazy!!

I would be eternally grateful if you could make covers (the one with all of the characters) for my kids:

Can the words "The End" be in a large font and "Made ..." be in a smaller font on a 2nd line, centered under "The End"

Right now there are no 8x11 designs that I know of. You may want to put a request out on the main board (even if it's just for some 8x11 generic pages). Alternatively, you could make a smaller sized book with the extra characters in it.

Please help! I clicked on the links in the first post. I picked some cards I liked that are in photo bucket. I saved them to my documents and then I was going to follow the instructions in the post about adding them to word, etc. I have a mac, so it's pages. Anyway, I went to open them and it shows the docs there, but can't be opened. Any ideas?!! Ack!!!

I would suggest that you make one book for the parks and a separate one for your character meals if you are doing 3 or more character meals. There are differing schools of thought on this, but I feel that the best way to order a 4x6 or 5x7 book is to arrange the characters in alphabetical order. If you are making an 8x8 with more than one character per page, then you might want to group them by movie. We saw the Fab 5 multiple times, but only made duplicate cards for them if we knew that we were going to see them in a special outfit (ie. safari gear at AK, Sorcerer Mickey at DHS, or chef's whites at Chef Mickeys). It's really a question of how many of Mickey's signatures that you want to collect. (BTW, they all sign in the exact same way - the cast members are trained for this). If you have the software and the skills, you can personalize any cover that you want to. If not, put a request at the end of the thread and I will be happy to make one for you.

Make sure that you click the images open to their full size and that you "save picture as" and don't just copy them. You should end up with JPEG files. If it still doesn't work, you may have to try opeining them in a different program (although they should be compatible).
