Hey MusicMouse! I came to this thread to start working on autograph books for our upcoming trip - planning to do 4X6 books like I had done in 2009! But, then I saw your link to your 8X8 album and I had a change of plans! I'm totally inspired. I want to start working on my own - but I wondered where you got the digital scrapbooking stuff that you used? I feel a little overhwhelmed - but I'm not ready to give up and do the 4X6 again - lol. Did you create it in Photoshop?

OMG no hobby lobby! I feel so sorry for you! I searched online and some office supply stores but it was kind of expensive. are you using it to put behind the printed cover?
If so what I used was a 3 ring binder and i took off the vinyl and cut the board on the inside for the right size. But I made my books with hard back cover. Most people i think make soft back books.

I anly have time to make a personalized autograph cover for our book, so I need to know how many other sheets to include in it for all the signatures. I feel so bad about not making individual sheets per character. Maybe I can just put stickers on them when we get home. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

MusicMouse, the cards are fantastic! I'm glad you're having fun with them. I think the list of characters at the two parties is fairly similar but not exactly the same. The princesses, and Fab 6 are out. One difference I do know is that the Villains do sign autographs at Disneyland's party. I think they don't at MNSSHP.

When I asked on the Superthread this is the list experienced partygoers put together of the typical characters they see at the parties or the parks the days of the parties. (I don't think this is an exhaustive list. Nobody seems to track the characters at Disneyland the way people do at Disneyworld.)

I don't expect you to make cards for all of these!

I want to add quite a few into our book for this year as we are doing two Halloween parties again and have learnt that it's not always easy to predict who we will see (and which character lines we are willing to stand in!)

I do respect that some DISigners don't do 'blanks' and I understand why so if you prefer not to that's ok, but thought I would ask

I have some regular generic covers in my photobucket, but none for MNSSHP. I'm afraid I'm one of those DISigners who doesn't give out blanks. I believe Natalie has a couple generics for MNSSHP in her photobucket.

I'm so happy that I inspired you! I made my pages with Photoshop Elements 8. I will PM you some links to designers (I can't post them here because they sell stuff).

Depending on how much you are willing to wait for characters, I would say that you are likely to meet around 60 signing characters in a one-week stay. Adjust accordingly if you are doing any character meals. If you don't have much time, you can always just print out a bunch of generic cards. I have a few designs in my photobucket and Natalie has some lovely ones as well.

So excited we are planning our 2nd trip to Disney and I have a lot more time to plan We are going Dec 2013 so about 17 months!!

I have a question for you – I LOVED the books I made last time used the 8 x 8pages and did a parks book and character meals book. We got so many compliments on our books and the characters went crazy! However, the character meal book is awesome and full of all the signatures and easy to take out and put in a scrapbook. Yet the park book I made had a lot of blanks on some pages were there were suppose to be 2 or 3 signatures and only got 1. What do you do when that happens?

I am thinking this time of doing more like a spiral bound book where I could take the autograph pages out and put with a picture in a scrapbook… then when I have blanks could use for another trip or at least not have so many hotes in my scrapbooks. What have others done to eliminate that?

Oh no! I just went to finish my books and realized I did not request new covers when I changed some of my meals. Would it be possible to get new covers for Ann and Kate with the following meals: Akershus, CRT, Crystal Palace, and Garden Grill. I cancelled Cape May Cafe and Tusker House.

We leave Saturday, Aug. 4, so I will totally understand if you don't have time to complete them before we go.
