I love that first dress!! That was definitely my number 2 pick in regards to wedding dresses!!

I agree it was quite heavy- as I am having an outdoor ceremony as well, and it was gorgeous on, but it wasn't for me. Mine was more of a princess-y feel then a more couture look.

By the by, after reading KristiLyn's story about her DF reading her PJ and seeing the picture of the dress, I've deleted my dress pictures. I was too paranoid DF was going to search out my PJ (since I talk about it and the DISboards a lot) and ruin the surprise! So you all will just have to wait until September to see the final choice, sorry!

We used the SOG intimate wedding package, so our situation is slightly different. We were at the gazebo, which is beautiful. I have seen pictures of tulle and flowers draped over the opening and it really adds a lot. We just had our parents and two friends who came for their honeymoon with us, so we weren't going over the top with decorating.

Our ceremony was at 11, so there weren't a ton of guests milling around. There were a few. It was very windy, which I hadn't even thought about...I was so worried about the temperature and the precipitation that wind didn't even factor in. Our friends videotaped the ceremony, and all you can hear is the wind! A professional videographer could do some fancy editing, but ours was free

We had Jack Day, who was great, and we used Randy Chapman as well. The package comes with a photographer from onsite, but I wanted lots of pics at POR. I am so thankful we went with both...they've worked together before and they ran the show! Randy truly went above and beyond!!! We can't say enough good things about him.

I saw your question about the room block and I went through my contract. We didn't stay at SoG but there was info about it. It does look as though everyone needs a sponsor. Hopefully they can figure something out for you.

Thanks for all of the info! Sometimes I WISH we were doing the intimate ceremony. It sounds like you had a good experience (except for the wind ) so that's encouraging!

I never understood why people can't take pictures, either. I've heard it's "to protect the designer" but I don't know what that means lol.

This is probably a silly question, but...
I noticed that when people update their PJs, sometimes they update the title of their PJ. How do I do this?
The answer is probably obvious but I can't figure it out.
