Yes, this is a question about Barack Obama. One of the things he says is that he was never in the church when Reverand Wright was making one of his now famous statements.

One of his more outrageious statements was made on September 16th, 2001. It was after 9/11. Can you remember where you were on that date? In the churches, there were more people there than on Christmas or Easter. Now, Senator Obama claims he was a member of this church. So the Sunday after 9/11, he wasn't in the church he was a member of? At a time in our country when everyone was getting close with family and with their faith, he stayed away?

I don't believe it.

I don't believe it for one minute either.

What if he was away?

That's pretty presumptious. Many were in churches that week. Many more were staying home close to family.

PS: Obama is no longer a member of Wright's church.

PSS: While Wright had a few bad sermons, he is generally very well respected in that community. Don't believe everything you read in email.

I went to church the Sunday after and it was standing room only-this on a Sunday night at 7pm. And all of the churches in our area had the same crowds.
I wonder where he was??

I remember that Sunday. What a painful week that was. Yes, there were a lot more people in church that day. But I don't find it unbelievable that Senator Obama wasn't in his home church that morning. What if he was one of the many Americans stuck in another city because the airports were closed? There could be many reasons he wasn't there.

they are just wondering, not trying to imply anything sinister.;)

I have no idea where barack Obama was on Sept. 16th 2001.
Church? Maybe, maybe not.

Look, personally I think Obama heard plenty of Wright's ideas. In church or not. The people they associated with are full of those types of ideas. So whether he was in church that Sunday or not, I believe he was exposed to those ideas more than once and knew full well what Rev. Wright believed. He chose to stay and remain very close to this man.
America has chosen to look past every red flag Obama has tossed up at us.

Senator Obama was suipposed to be serving the people of Chicago in the Illinois Senate, which means he should have been in Springfield on the 11th. Springfield is a short train ride, or car ride.

Have you ever been to that community? I have. I don't have to read emails to know what goes on there.

This was his spiritual advisor, this was where he received his spiritual support. Why wasn't he there if you truly believe he wasn't there?

PS: Obama WAS a member of Wright's church on 9/11 and on 9/16. Don't beleive everything YOU read in email.

So now we are supposed to fear Obama because he may have heard controversial words at some point in his life? Good grief.

How can you expect him to remember where he was on the Sunday after 9/11 when he can't even seem to remeber where he put that darn birth certificate of his!:rotfl2:

Springfield is 3.5 hours from where Obama lives.

If this was one issue, no. But his spiritual advisor was Reverand Wright. His financial backing comes from Tony Rezko (a convicted felon who may be providing criminal evidence against both Blagovich and Obama). His first job came from Bill Ayers and he worked on several boards with him concerning educational ideas - far, far left educational ideas. Over and over and over. For 20 years. 20 years is not just some point in his life. Good grief.

So, if you work for the Senate, you never travel out of state? People were stranded for several days after 9/11, due to airports closing & long delays for departure once they re-opened. It would not be surprising if he were out of state, trying to travel back home.

Also, why would you assume he went to church? Not everyone grieves and handles traumatic events in the same way. Maybe he was at home with his family that day, maybe he was at church-who knows?

I think the problem with these red flags is too many people trying so hard to create them...:rolleyes1

Holy crap, who cares. maybe he went to Baskin Robins for a double scoop of jamoca almond fudge and went back home to have a conjugal visit with his lovely wife.

I mean, seriously....

You can nit pick to till the cows come home. OK, my turn...I still wanna know how Cindy McCain served not time for stealing SHIPMENTS of narcotics for personal use. I wanna know who John McCain made a deal with.

How much longer do you want to play this petty game.

(psssssst.....did you heat that Obama may not have a legitimate birth certificate....)

Oh snore.
