Who exactly are regis and kelly?

OMG too funny...we just expect everyone to know who they are. It's Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa from "Live With Regis and Kelly", a morning talk show Live weekdays from NY and syndicated all over the U.S.

Well I am from the UK and though we get a lot of American shows on Sky tv, we don't get that one. Last year we stayed at Atlantis in the Bahamas and they were filming some American guy that everyone was going nuts for, we were like 'who is he?' I bet he was a tv celeb.

I understand....it's just funny we all assume everyone knows who they are. They're very popular and well liked (by most) here...hence all the hoopla here about them. They just did two shows from Disneyland California on Monday and Tuesday (which I believe they taped over the weekend) then flew close to 2500 miles to do 3 shows from DisneyWorld in Florida. Regis has been in the business for over 40 years doing talk shows and performing night club acts (Vegas, etc.), Kelly is a perky sweetheart who started out on the soap opera All My Children approx. 12 years ago, then became Regis' cohost 4 years ago (she's 34) and also has a sitcom for 2 years called Hope & Faith (don't know it you get that one there).

Well, I sent my 2 Wed am ticket to RachelTori from the boards so hopefully she is one of the Lime Green DISers we saw this morning...I was so excited to see so many..The hat was awesome..

The seats looked scattered around strange. There is no way that view is true of the carosel in the background! Digital image imho! Its gorgeous... the first shot of R&K show they arent that close to the castle!!

Actually, seeing the carousel through the castle arch is something that is real. Last year when my parents and I were watching Wishes from the hub my dad pointed out that you could see the carousel through the arch. We have it on video, it was beautiful because it was all lit up and until if I hadn't seen it in person I wouldn't have believed you could see it through the castle either

I am so glad you said that. I could not for the life of me figure out the camera angle or where they actually were.

I'd really like to hear from someone that was there and saw the actual layout in person. It was making me dizzy watching it.

The first thing I noticed was all of the LIME GREEN sprinkled throughout the audience The lady with the lime green hat really caught my attention She has to be from the DIS!

I don't usually watch Regis & Kelly, but this morning I watched it. I too noticed all the lime green. I must be on the boards to long 'cause I knew exactly what they stood for!

The stage and rigging covers town square. The season finale of america's funniest home videos was also taped at town square this past Monday. I think it will be on 5/13.
