A Safari Christmas Goes Pop! (w/pics)

I know your trip is a ways away still, but at least you're busy with your new home. That's so exciting that you are almost all set with the new place! :woohoo: I still remember when you first mentioned about the idea of it.

Thanks for the good wishes! Feel free to live vicariously through our trip, and you can do the same for us, when you go next year. :santa:
OOOOPS forgot to tell you that we decided in July NOT to build we found a house with a lot of character and it fits our family perfect~ and it has a pool! So we scrapped our plans of building and bought a house.
As for our Disney trip people are coming and going on the trip right now I know it will just be our family and my brother. One of my daughters friends may join us also! So yes I will be living for now threw your dreams!!

Okay. . .we've been hemming and hawing about trying this restaurant out, and we've finally decided to eat there on our first night. We're going to the MK, for the day, so getting there shouldn't be a problem. Having never been there before, can any of you give us any pointers. I know there are a lot of surprises with this dining experience and there are certain things to avoid saying. Any tips would be appreciated. I'm looking forward to seeing the resort, especially with the holiday decorations. It's supposed to be beautiful. :santa:
Ok we ate at the Whispering canyon cafe on one of our last days i was all excited and informed my daughter of some of the "SPECIAL" things they do there. As we arrived at the resort and were waiting for our table we saw some of the "special things" going on and I was Excited to say the least. We were seated and my daughter had worn her "Thing 1" sweatshirt (UNIVERSAL GEAR) hoping for a response and she didn't get one... Just lets say other waitresses and waiters are better at SPECIAL STUFF than others!

Well. . .I was checking out a food porn thread and was convinced to change our Sci-Fi and 50s Primetime Cafe ressies. Based on what I saw of the lunch at 50s, I realized the lunch menu had some items we would enjoy, but that weren't on the dinner menu. Meanwhile, we had planned to go to Sci-Fi during lunch, which always feels weird when you feel like it's at night while inside. So, easy switch. Thankfully, they had the same time frames for those places on the dates we needed. Ah! I just love making plans for our WDW trip. :goodvibes

Tomorrow, I'm back to work. . .so I imagine changes will be less frequent! :rotfl2:

MMMM my fav place to eat 50's Prime time!

Well, at least you got the house you wanted. That's what matters. :goodvibes

Live through me all you want! Just be ready for me to do the same through you, when you go. :thumbsup2

So what were some of the things they normally do? I believe I read somewhere not to ask for straws, because they'll bring you a ton. You shouldn't ask for a refill, or you will get a HUGE glass. I also believe there was something about ketchup, but I don't remember what. Did I hit them all?

I'm sorry your server wasn't into all that with you guys. Part of me hopes to have a fun server and part of me would enjoy just watching it happen to others.

We enjoy 50s Primetime, too. The food good and the theme is fun! You never know what to expect.

Now, did you really think there wouldn't be anymore changes! :rotfl2: And here I thought you guys were really getting to know me. :rotfl2:

Okay, here's what I believe is our last dining change. We had reserved Restaurant Marrekesh for lunch on Dec. 26th, but weren't overly enthused about it. We weren't sure how we would like the food. However, every time we read about Kona Cafe, we would think, "Hmmm, Kona sounds good!" So, we finally just made a decision and booked Kona in place of Marrakesh. We think it's a wise move for us.

Now, I just wonder if I should repost my whole itinerary or just wait till closer to the trip. Ah, who am I kidding? I might as well wait.

found a shirt design for you

You should just wait to post your plans when you get back, because we know you will keep changing them until then!!

You read right! :cool1: My DH was looking at airline prices and we can actually go cheaper by leaving the night before! We haven't decided for sure yet if we are going to do this, but chances are pretty good that we will. We already made a ressie for 1900 Park Fare, for breakfast, on the morning of the 23rd, just in case. We'd also get a full day at the MK, on our first day, though we would probably split parks that day, since MK is open EMH that morning and Epcot is open later with EMH. Isn't that cool?! :woohoo:

I'll update you soon, with whether or not we are leaving earlier. So, I may be only 83 days away, instead of 84!

Wow that is great! Don't you love it how sometimes the plane tickets "just so happen" to be cheaper a day before. :lmao:

While I was reading this Ryan was sitting next to me and he saw your user name on the boards and starts singing "she's a disney freak a disney freak" .. like to the tune of "super freak" just thought I'd let you know. :rotfl:

Yeah, I do! :goodvibes

That's funny, because that's what was in my head when I first created my user name! :lmao: Ryan and I must think alike. . .crazy, huh? :lmao:

That would be awesome!!! :thumbsup2

I know! I can't wait to know for sure. My DH is busy tonight and tomorrow night, and can't really take care of it yet, but hopefully the price of that flight remains the same or even better. Blow some pixie dust my way!

Anxious, huh? We're leaving a day early!!! I'm so excited. Now, we'll get a full day at WDW. I'm so psyched! I just changed my ticker, in honor of the change. Wahoo!!! :woohoo:

Just wondered if your disney math was going to work like mine did! We originally were going for 7 days, and now we are up to 11 days!!:lmao:
Yay for another full day at Disney!!:santa:

This will have to be it, but Disney math is so much fun! I've never loved adding to much!!! :rotfl:

So, tonight we booked the extra night at POP!!! I'm so happy! :cool1: We're also considering upgrading our tickets to annual passes when we get there, since we're thinking of returning in November. I always get the first full week off, from working at the school, and we've always wanted to do the food and wine festival. So, I may get do another PTR when I get done with December's TR!!! :woohoo: We're even considering booking it before we come back home. I'm so psyched! :goodvibes
