A/S Music May Not Open On Time- Rumor with my personal clue

We have POFQ booked for November and I have been looking to change hotels also with nothing available for weeks.
This is just my thoughts but with the delay of AS not opening in September is it possible WDW is rethinking opening some of these hotels? I could see them opening PORand not FQ and not opening all the AS resorts due to cancellations, staffing issues. Maybe they are holding inventory at the mods and values for the fall while they make these kind of decisions?

Sooo. We had a TA book our trip. If Disney decides to give us an upgrade how do we know? Do they call me or the TA?

I have Music booked 10/2-10/7 and I haven't been contacted about moving to another resort.

I had a ressie for A/S Music in late October.

I just got a call and was upgraded to AoA family suite for the same price.

I think that A/S Music will not be open during my October visit.

The rumor says it will open in December and not the original September date.

Park attendance is waaay down..........Stupid Covid!!

Park attendance being down is a plus for us who go!

It was just available today for some dates I checked in September so you would think they would stop bookings if it was not opening

Obviously we are all getting/seeing a variety of mixed signals on this situation!

Sure wish we knew the whole story.

I will say that last December we had an A/S ressie and we got moved to AoA.

The visit last year was only for 3 nights during the first week of December.

It’s been a couple days since I’ve seen anyone reporting being moved. Maybe they were just overbooked a bit.

Cruise lines, not sure about DCL are known to give upgrades, particularly to pax who book early. That frees up lower priced cabins for new bookings.

Upgrading a value guest to a moderate frees up a lower priced hotel. If Disney is able to start booking groups some guests may have to be moved.

If FL doesn't get better results cancellations will resume.
