A Rumblee in my Tumblee Pre-Trip Report

I can't believe how many times we have changed these plans.... UGH! I think our plans are now complete.

Tuesday, May 12th
We will wake up and pack up the mini van and check out of POFQ
We have breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at Ohana around 9AM
After breakfast we will go to Epcot to spend a couple of hours. (I figure we will walk around the world showcase- maybe do a Kim Possible Mission- or go on anything that we really wanted to see/go on that we missed on our other Epcot Day.
At 1:00 we have lunch scheduled at Chef de France - with Remy!! (this is a surprise for the boys!!)
After lunch, we will head to the mini van and sadly drive to the airport:scared:
Our flight leaves around 5:45PM

OH boy you are really going to make his head even BIGGER (:rotfl:) Actually he is a writer. But, he does LOVE to debate ....and be right all the time:rotfl2:

Hmm...I think I will just :tiptoe:

Hey, thanks. Its good to be here. I'm sure my work will appreciate it as well. Heh.

Heh. My work loves the DISboards! ;)

Ha. I did it myself. And thanks. It is rather nice, isn't it? I actually found the ticker thingamawhat by clicking on yours.

:lmao:

Last day...:sad1: I don't even want to think about it!!

I think we are watching Cars tonight too! I'll have to check out the family night thread for some ideas too! I don't go all out like you though!:rotfl:

I can't wait to hear about your Cars menu and activity. I taped Cars off of the family channel a couple of weeks ago so we have that one, although we have to fast forward through the commercials. lol

I can't wait to hear about your Remy experience!

Thank you!! It has been such a long winter. I am so looking forward to coming back from our trip, and having spring, warm weather! I LOVE sunny Florida but I could never leave my Red Sox though :goodvibes
You are almost 15 years younger than me. This is honestly the first year I've ever thought I could leave NE.;)

I have an ADR at Chef de France on Monday May 4th. You can quietly ask me how it went if we see you at CP opening on May 6th.:ssst:

Cars night sounds fun!

We are taking the 5:45 flight home too but on the 9th.

Do you have a trip report?? What are your plans!? I had forgot you would be at CP- make sure you say hi!! Going all the way to Disney and meeting someone who lives 20 mins away LOL! (you said south shore right?)

Oh- I CANT wait for Chef de France- I have my meal all picked out! :rotfl2: Are you going between 12:30-6:00? I hear that is when Remy is around.

Last day...:sad1: I don't even want to think about it!!

Here are some ideas I have found:
*Lightning McQueen's Sandwiches: Prepare sandwiches with various fillings. Then cut them using car shaped cookie cutters.

*Pit Stop Snacks: Fill plastic bags with various snacks that "race car drivers" can grab and go: pretzels, nuts, dried cherries, bananas, M&Ms, and so on.

*Mater's Oil Sundaes: Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream in each child's bowl. Add a bit of chocolate syrup and sprinkle some nuts on top.

*Grilled "Lightyear" Tires: serve grilled burgers

*Doc Hudson's Hot dogs
*Luigi & Guido's Lasagna
*Fillmore's Organic Fruit Salad
*Red the Fire Truck's Siren-sicles: serve red colored popsicles

Cars Drink Ideas:

*Speedy Ice Cubes: Put small gummy car candy into ice trays. Fill with water and freeze. You'll have unique looking car ice cubes that you put in any drink you like.

*Flo's V8 Drink
*Lemonade

Leaning Tower of Tires
Use Luigi's Tower of Tires as a centerpiece - only make it out of chocolate mini doughnuts held together with skewers!

Grape Kool-Aid or Chocolate Milk both make great 'oil' to drink!

I just posted above some ideas that are brewing! I am really excited to see that little Mouse!!

Yes, on the south shore. I work in Quincy.

Your Cars ideas sound great!

We gave a 1pm at Chef de France. I'm not sure what I'll have. What are you planning on? I do think I'll get the crepes for dessert.

DS will be easy to spot at CP. I made him a Walt & Mickey t-shirt. Hope to get a picture of him in front of the statue before we check into CP with little/no crowds. I was thinking of making me one with Walt holding Mickey balloons for my birthday but I'm afraid that will put Walt or Mickey's hands in the "wrong" place.;) I've already got an iron on shirt for me that is Tigger that says "It's my birthday" so that is perfect for CP and I also have one of the Queen of Hearts that says "It's my birthday. May happy birthdays all be said before I shout off with heads".

OMGosh! I LOVE this tshirt!:love: Where did you get the design from?

Thanks I'll send you the picture. I didn't do it as an iron on though-I cut it out of black fabric and sewed it on. I don't know if you can tell any better in this photo.

Thank you and WOW! That's talent! I'll probably stick with the iron-on!!!:rotfl:

Thanks! I was scared to do it but it must have been Disney Magic or something because it was easier than I expected. When my DS saw it for the first time he screamed "AWESOME!". He LOVES Walt Disney. My friend who's driving us to the airport at 6:30am on a Saturday morning asked me to make one for her DH. I couldn't say no. I did his on a rigger T (from Old Navy) but I'm not as happy with the sewing on this one and I messed up when cutting out Walt's finger. Cutting an iron on for this would be a bit tricky too.

LovesDumbo- The shirts came out GREAT! I am talented when it comes to floral arranging and stuff like that (I actually went to college and my major was in Floriculture) but I can't sew!!! Explain to me me if you send the pic- how does she iron this on to a t-shirt?? I am just clueless when it comes to that stuff- but I would LOVE to try to make a couple shirts for my boys- and I can Iron! HEE!

Ok- so I have to tell you, I have looked at the menu for each place we are dining at and I have my meal picked out or at least an idea for what I think I will want) At Chef de France, I am all set for the Onion Soup, Ham and Cheese sandwich thing, and some yummy Crepe dessert!! Myles watched Ratatouille tonight- all I could think of was how I couldn't wait to see his face when we are having lunch and they bring out that silver platter with Remy on it!

Can't wait to see pics from Cars night. It's one of our favorites. I have it on my Ipod. I watched it last year to and from Disney on the airplane to help calm the nerves. Excited to see what you come up with this week. You have done an excellent job with your Disney nights. :thumbsup2
