A Rumblee in my Tumblee Pre-Trip Report

I was going to keep the concierge part of our trip secret but I couldn't do it. So the Remy thing is the only surprise I have in store for DS.

You need to go check out the CreativeDisSigns board:

So many talented folks over there!

Iron on aren't too bad. You need to get special transfer paper. You need to wash and dry the t's without fabric softener first. There are 2 kinds of transfers. One for light t-shirts and one for dark t-****s. Lots of folks prefer the ones for dark t's and use only that-the colors are more vibrant and you can use any color T-even white. I actually prefer the ones for light t's because the one for dark t's is more like a sheet of plastic-I don't like that feel on a t-shirt for Orlando. When you use the ones for light t's you need to reverse the image before you print it (or choose mirror image when printing). Like I said the ones for dark t's are like a sheet of plastic so you print right on that -no reversing of the design. You need to use care when cutting out the ones for dark t's because anything you don't cut out will be white on the T. Just be sure to read the directions for which ever you buy carefully. There are some new transfer sheets out for dark t's that are suppose to have some stretch in them but I haven't tried those since I started sewing.

When you actually iron the design on you shouldn't use your ironing board as it lets the heat escape. The directions suggest using a towel on a wooden table but you can damage your table doing that. I have had very good luck covering a wooden cutting board with a pillowcase and using that on my ironing board.

I'm not sure how well that Walt design would work as an iron on. I've had trouble getting black to look really dark with iron ons.

Be careful!!!! It easy to get carried away.:rotfl: There are so many cute designs over on that board!

Have a fun Cars night tonight!

Can't wait to see pics from Cars night. It's one of our favorites. I have it on my Ipod. I watched it last year to and from Disney on the airplane to help calm the nerves. Excited to see what you come up with this week. You have done an excellent job with your Disney nights. :thumbsup2

Oh, thank you so much- it is a lot of work, but we all have so much fun with it. It's funny, now everyone knows we do it, people ask "can we come over for Disney Night?" Tonight Myles little friend from school is coming over, next week Nonnie and Papa again and then the little girls that live next door who are going the same day as us are coming over for a special "Night before Disney Night!!" So much fun!!!! - Cars is such a good movie too- I am looking forward to it.

Love the clothes! I see you went to Old Navy!! The boys will be very handsome!

Your dog is gorgeous! I love dogs! We have a black lab named Will! I need to post a pic of him on my pre-trippie!!

I love the plaid shorts on little boys, that is so cute, they are gonna look like handsome little men! I started packing yesterday too. But now that I see your ziplock bags I really think I want to do that too. That's great, you never have to dig through the suitcase:thumbsup2 Right now I have ziplocks for socks and underwear, but I think doing it for the outfits too is great.

Thank you!! Our dog's name is Daisy- we call her Crazy Daisy! Myles named her after Daisy Duck. I will be looking our for Will's Picture.:dog2:

Thank you!! I think it makes them wrinkle a little, BUT I think they will be wrinkle free as soon as they get in that nice sunny Florida weather.

I love all the clothes choices. I think the plaid with the goofy shirt is my favorite!

Thank you- I really like that outfit on them too- that and their Narcoosees outfit!

Off to go get ready for Disney Night!

Wow! You're ready to go! I need to finish sewing so I can pack!

I do the zip lock bag thing too. I put the entire outfit-t, shorts, undies, socks in a bag. This is especially helpful when we travel as a family (and when the kids were younger) because anyone (;)) can help get the kids dressed.

Where will Daisy go when you're at WDW?

Myles and Owen's cousin Steph will stay at our house while we go and take care of Daisy and Nick our Fish (Named after Nick Jonas). She is turning 21 while we are away- so I am a little worried about my house! :scared1:

The clothes look good except for those Red Sox shirts:rotfl::rotfl:

The Yankees actually won a game yesterday. I guess they aren't going defeated after all:confused3.

Your getting really close!!!!:cool1::cool1:

It was an ok night-After dinner the kids were dancing to Disney music and Owen fell right into the corner of the coffee table- his ear really swelled up and got a little purple. :scared: I think it scared me more than him! Myles was a little crazy tonight too- his friend was here and he was so excited. He was a little too excited! They were so cute though at dinner, his friend that came over was a girl from his preschool class and they were saying who was going to marry who- the little girl said "I am going to marry Myles" - Myles looked at her real quick and was like "WHAT!?":scared1:

How cute! :) Where did you come up with this stuff? Seriously...I have a Wish Trip Mom on another thread asking about planning some Disney nights so they can look forward to their trip!

I am going to send her to this trip report, of course! But I wonder if you have a source that I could post as a sticky on the Wish Trippers thread? :confused3

Thank you so much!

And your kids are very lucky to have cool parents that will spend quality time with them. And you can write that down to tell them later! ;)

It is FILLED with a TON of creative ideas!! After reading about other people's Disney Nights, we started our own and we have had so much fun! It has really helped to pass the time waiting for this trip.

Thank you for the nice words. Wayne and I are the lucky ones to have such amazing kids. I make sure to tell my boys all the time how lucky I am to be their Mommy! :lovestruc
