The hotel side has beverage coolers. They are not cold enough to keep perishables in, they just keep beverages cool.

If these are just “rebranded” mini-fridges, that’s one thing…but a completely different product is another.

I guess we will know more once people stay in the rooms. Beverage coolers have clear glass doors so you can see the drinks inside.

Yea, it will be a problem if they are truly just the same bev coolers they put in the hotel rooms. I’ve had leftovers and milk go bad in those, they are really almost pointless.

Yep, we used it for a 1 night in Pop. It’s fine for waters, but nothing else. Maybe they’ll may reuse the beverage coolers they previously had in the hotel rooms?

I thought part of the selling point of a studio is that it HAS a mini-kitchen... microwave, FRIDGE,toaster, coffeepot and sink. Without these things, it is just a hotel room!

I agree! The studios I’ve been in at the poly lately only have the beverage cooler and I’ve been thinking how I’ve felt sort of misled by dvc. I thought it had a kitchenette with a mini fridge I could store milk in for my son.

That's interesting- What building were you in? We have been since the soft refurb and had the regular mini frig (without the freezer) in Pago Pago and Moorea

Moorea before and after the refurb. I thought the fridges without the freezer were beverage coolers.

I think the beverage cooler is the one with the glass door- to me it looks like a small wine frig. I read that the frig with the regular door stays at cooler temps- but that info could be incorrect. I think the beverage coolers (with the glass doors) have been put in the refurbed Poly hotel rooms- but not 100% sure on that as I have not been in one of those rooms.

We stayed at Poly and you are correct. The rooms have mini fridges. The beverage cooler is distinct, it has a glass door so you can look inside. It’s not cold, just cool. All rooms hotel side have them.
