Just returned from our week at Disney; myself, DW, DS6 and DS4 (apologizing if my notation is wrong), and thanks in large part to all the advice I found here we had a fantastic time. Just thought I'd let you know what did/didn't work for us during March Break hitting all four parks MKx2.

First off (because it's a short list) here's what could have been better:
HISTA - agonizing pre-show and little payoff
Backlot Tour - too long for too little
Dinosaur - I may have over-hyped it in advance
Animal Kingdom Parking Lot - not enough signage
Soarin - too much for the 8 and under lot

And now the good:
Soarin - for anyone > 8
The CMs - always helpful and a free toy in Dinoland when DS6 didn't win on his first try.
YOAMD - free ears from the Carousel just after the rope drop.
B&B and Lion King Shows - perfect for preschoolers, early grades (and grown-ups)
Everest - more entertaining than scary, a good coaster for minimal thrill seekers
Garden Grill Character Lunch - very relaxed compared to the rest of your day
The crowds - I was expecting far worse
Muppet 3D - everything HISTA wasn't

And if I had to recommend three things:
1 - Always be there at park opening (and if you stay off-site as we did always start at a park without EMH)
2 - Fastpass, Fastpass, Fastpass - at no time should you be without your full complement
3 - Philharmagic - amazing - nearly unanimously the favourite attraction for all of us

Other highlights included :
Riding Snow White 7 times in an hour so DS6 could be in each Dwarf's cart.
Kadoozies to pass the time waiting for parades to start.

Thanks again to everyone who provides advice on these boards.

Glad to hear that you had a good time. I love that you rode Snow White 7 times - once for each dwarf! That's love! :thumbsup2

What's a kadoozie? And HISTA? (Pardon my disney ignorance, never been)

I don't know what a kadoozie is, but HISTA is Honey I Shrunk the Audience. The show is in Epcot, and I agree it has a long pre-show and the show needs to be updated or something.
