A year?? Already?? My gosh that's hard to believe. I can't say it any better than GP.....so I'll just say....THE DIS ROCKS!!!

Morning guys -

I have heard a brief update on the kids - it's not quite the greatest news in the world.

Shortly after the family returned from their WDW trip, Stephanie's father was diagnosed with terminal cancer himself.

The kids were going to live with an Aunt down south some where who has a couple of children of her own and sounds like a wonderful woman. Steph's mom was thrilled. She is getting older, has her own health ailments and has the task of taking care of her sick husband. She knew that this Aunt would raise the kids in the way Stephanie had wanted. Her mom is the first to admit she can't raise 3 kids on her own and this help from the Aunt is the very best thing the kids could have hoped for.

Well, last I heard the kids were back with Grandma because it was too much of a disruption for the Aunt to have 3 additional children on top of her own kids.

Now Stephanie's mom is in the process of trying to find organizations that can help them out. The task of raising the kids is too much for her to handle.

I was just going through my DVC account yesterday, and noticed the ressie I made for Stephanie at OKW. I was shocked that it had already been a year! It was such a fun thing to do, and I would like to thank you for starting the ball rolling on it. We all felt as if we knew Stephanie by the time it was over. How are her kids doing now?

OOps, Tami! I was asking my question about the time you were posting an answer about the kids! I have thought of them often, and last Sunday said a prayer for them as a reminder of last year.
