A really stupid question about booking

Ok so DH and I are going to go back alone for a 3rd year in a row in October.....yipee! So the stupid question part.....can I book a room now and when the codes come out convert it over or do I wait for AP or DC rates? I feel like this is a stupid question but I really have no idea. Thanks in advance all!

Not a stupid question at all.

Book your room NOW and then if/when any discounts come out you can have them applied to your reservation if available. It's better to be sure you get the resort and dates you want now and then worry about any discounts when they are released.

By all means, reserve it now.

I booked my July trip in April under the Dream Maker package, and put the deposit down to hold it. When the Fairy Tale package came out, they just applied the new discounts under the same reservations. They won't do this automatically, so you will need to keep watch for the best offer and ask for it. The agent I went through did a great job of doing it all for me and just let me know how much she saved me.
