The special rates offered by the TA everyone is using, is almost like hitting the lottery! Let me know and I can FB message an example of some rates. It is always certain time frames tho.

I assume you upgraded YC to CL and not The Beach? Have you officially changed to WL yet? Let me know when I can add you to the Lodgers' Log with my magical erasing pen

Ask me Monday LOL. And yes yc cl, but if the beach had one I'd be all over it!! So many RC gals at YC in August....but the awesomeness of OFC calls...what's a gal to do?? Then I ask DH...what is cheaper he replies. Poor guy, doesn't even know we are CL.

Hi Kathy sorry I missed your post, I dislike posting from my phone the computer is SO much better. Like Christine mentioned it's like 50% off for YC SV rooms. CL is like 38% off I think. DH and I had a YC suite once (they overbooked our GF RPC room) that will be hard to top!

So DH was granted 2 weeks off in August

Here's the plan....official changes confirmations all set...

August 15th (Friday night) head down to Florida
August 16th let DH rest and get a hotel on the way down for the night
August 17th Check in at Anna Maria Island
August 22nd Check out of Beach and head to YC CL Epcot EMH that night!!!
August 23rd the BIG SAB Party, Melissa is checking in, Mama and Janet will already be there!!!
August 24th..I will rehydrate from my hangover...and MK EMH that night
August 25th DHS day
August 26th CRT breakfast with my princesses
August 27th Epcot day
August 28th Waterpark day, and check out day. I am thinking that evening we may stopover in St. Augustine for the night as we head home

I almost changed to WL CL yesterday, but the savings was less than $100 total, and DH said NO I tried..and his reply, yes you did....
Melissa talked me off the ledge, because normally I never listen to him

...an I am saving this itinerary ...even though it is the worst possible dates for me to be away so not likely to happen. (PS Good call on WL ...although I suppose std view with CL would be more tolerable? Personally, I could not stand paying for those horrid and disgusting std views. View snob, I am. )

if it helps...its also the weekend after Melissas kiddos start school, but a Nana and Sophia weekend may be nice..and there is room for you always!! There's enough of us there..you can room hop LOL

You are too cute! Yep, can you just see me hoping room to room!! NOT!! I am the very least likely to ever do that (have you noticed I've not been on any of the trips where I was invited to "stay" with dear friends? ).

If only Sophia would go with Nana but she is a mama's girl right ought and would never leave her side. If we can find a decent pet friendly resort/hotel very close to WDW we might drive down for 3 ngts, early June.

I never said anything..and he said it's next because we have been booked everywhere else. I got my scolding as well, "You got these kids all excited for the pool at Beach Club leave it alone or we are going to Universal". Okay, got it...Kate reminded him we are at YC

You are all so sweet. I am doing my best....Mia and Sophia definitely could not go over the August dates...and even if they could, we could not stay onsite with the pups...but those dates are not possible because Sophia begins Kindergarten on August 21.

I have been trying to finagle a way I could get down for 3 or 4 ngts, but since the dates are what they are, realistically there is no way. Unless I was gone for Sophia's first few days of Kindergarten, which I would never miss.

There will be another time...anyway, I am far too shy in groups. It always sounds like fun from a distance but in person I would probably wind up staying in my room, sitting in the balcony. Which would be lovely!!

So...going to TRY to stop trying to make this happen and enjoy everyone's planning!!
