Dang but thank you. Brunch will be awesome and I'm looking forward to the views. Plus don't we get a free mimosa?

10 days!!!
Does that look right? We could say 9 really if we don't count the day we embark because its the day we embark!!!
I count how many "sleeps" I have left....so 9 more sleeps until we both are on vacation!

Brunch will be awesome, no doubt about it!I think its one free mimosa per person, you're welcome to mine though, I just get a diet Coke.
I like 9 betterNow that we're so close I'm shaving off another day since my birthday is on Friday. 8 days until vacation technically starts. Hopefully this week flies by! You're off Friday too right?
It looks even more exciting to see it all written out like thatfireworks are near the end of the party, and then a dance party after the fireworks. Lots of fun to be had on Pirate Night
Oh and of course dont forget about the buffet!
There's a buffet on pirate night? At the party or for dinner?
It starts during the party in the Topsiders. There have been delights such as turkey legs, crepes, make your own nachos, and lots of desserts. I thought I had mentioned it before, sorry if I hadn't. They really don't announce it at all but it's there
I have some fabulous news. Thanks to Jill, thank you Jill!, I checked on my car rental again and mistakenly put in Miami airport instead of Port of Miami and it was $110 less to pick it up at the airport. I then checked to see how much it would cost to get to the airport and a taxi would be $24 plus tip. Not bad not bad at all, but then I thought, SAS is only $15 plus tip and they'd drive me 45 minutes in the right direction and I wouldn't have to navigate Miami. The car from FLL was the same price, $110 less than what I originally booked. So I changed my rental all around and emailed SAS about a pick up post cruise. I am beyond pleased.

Yay, I'm glad you saved so much money!!! What a lucky mistake.

What? How in the heck are we going to eat all that right after dinner? It sounds awesome though. I'm going to have to order like one thing for dinner. I love crepes.

That's great news! Wow, not only a financial savings but a huge logistical savings and not having to navigate Miami on your own.
I am so happy for you. Love it when it all falls into place.
Our trips are already full of so much pixiedust, what are they going to be like when we actually take them?
Magical!

I'll tell you one thing I am really looking forward to, checking OUT! Michael will be with the girls and dogs so there is no reason for them to need me. I'll miss them of course and I'd love to chat with them but work won't be able to contact me and that makes me hap hap happy. I swear, unless I am out of the country, it never fails that every single time I take a day off, someone texts me about work. I know my fill in is just trying to do a good job and I don't fault her that but sometimes it gets old answering the same questions every time I have a day off. The phone is going on airplane mode, right after I share a photo or 10 but as soon as the muster drill begins, I am considering us on vacation!
I hope I don't go into withdrawals.
That's EXACTLY why I love cruises or going overseas. I've spent the last 10 years working in Operations in 24x7 roles (up until the last year) and my phone rings constantly with work. I also was conditioned to check email all the time. I've taken calls in Epcot. It's sad. I love being forced to check out and just RELAX. That's a big reason I take vacations...it's the only down time I get. I don't have a family (I mean, husband/kids...I wasn't raised by wolves..maybe I was..that would explain a lot..) but work drives me crazy!

I have a husband, kids, was raised by wolves, and work drives me crazy too.I think it's designed to do that. LOL! Technology is great on some fronts but it greatly inhibits the ability to truly check out. I'm not going anywhere near an Internet package on board or a Starbucks in Cozumel.

I checked out like this on our last cruise and it was wonderful! However I had my babies with me and everything was perfect. This time I have a feeling I will be knocking people down to get to an internet connection for FaceTime with my little ones. This will be the longest that I have ever left them. My youngest is only 4. I would be lying if I said that I didn't feel nervous about it already.
I love checking out from life, but we get the internet package on cruises so I can keep up with you guys! I miss my DIS friends. Especially when Fran is taking her naps. I can't really leave the room, although I did head to Stormalong Bay last trip for an hour.
I've taken calls at AK, Epcot and I've even located and hired a leak/damage restoration company from the comfort of my Villa. As long as we have tenants, I'm on call.
I love your live reports. We all look forward to them.
I always think of funny things to tell you guys when we're away too. I can totally see why the Internet package works for you. If Joshua was a baby and would nap, it would make sense for me. Or if M and I were cruising and leaving the kids at home.
You are on 24/7 and thankfully as I'm sure your tenants appreciate that. I've also answered and returned calls. It's easier when M isn't around because he totally dislikes cell phones on vacation. The kids flip when their phones die at Disney and he loves it.
