A Question for those who Rec'd Magical Memories Certificate

A month or so ago, I was talking to a fellow dad at one of those kid's activities about DVC. He had checked into it earlier but was unsure due to the great military discounts he gets. My wife ran into him earlier this week and he said he bought and asked that I get referral credit. He was told that we would not get credit because his name was already "in the system." Apparently, he insisted that the only reason he bought was due to what I had said during our conversation (while I don't remeber it that well, I kind of thought that I agreed his reasoning for not buying sounded reasonable.) In any event, I got a letter (looks like form) from my guide today thanking me "Sharing the Magic." Does this mean I will get the credit?

I'm not sure. It will be interesting to see if you get the certificate for the incentive after he closes. When you refer someone you normally receive a certificate about 3 to 4 weeks after they close. You make your choice and then mail it in. Since you got a thank you letter I wouldn't be surprised if you received the certificate. You could always call your guide and find out.
