I had always heard that they make their undergarments for women a size 12 or lower. They want to maintain a certain "image." I am a 10 and I have trouble finding comfy skivvies in V.S. I enjoy their bras, but that's it! Frankly, I think they are missing out on a sizable segment of the female population.
what style are you buying? I'm a size 8 and wear
small in second skin satin string bikinis
medium in low rise cotton
small in string cotton small in thong
and funny thing is...my bum is FAR from small! heheh
Hmm I have the cotton thongs, the cotton low rise thongs, the cotton low rise v-strings, and who knows what else I pick up here and there, lol (I think I have some Very Sexy thongs as well). I wear mediums in all those but the low rise thongs, I have to get a large, which I hate having to do. LOL.
Victorias Secret is evil. Aside from the fact that most of the clerks are snobby and rude, nothing there fits and it is all overpriced and IMO, not very high quality.

Wow, they are usually pretty nice to me. But, if someone is rude or snobby to you...tell them. Better to confront them about it (especially people that are suppose to be helping you), then let them have the last word.
The clerks have never been anything but helpful to me, which is one of the reasons I continue to shop there. If anything, they can be too helpful at times and make me spend too much money, lol.
Maybe it depends on where you shop. I've been to stores all over MA and NH and have never met a clerk there who was not condescending and rude. One of them even informed my friend that they would not have anything that fit her.
(my friend is not that heavy either maybe a size 14 and the girl who said this to her looked like she was maybe a size 0 )

Thats because there is nothing to fit your friend who is a size 14 in that store. The salesclerk was correct.
My sister and I (both 5'10" size 14 kinda girls) went in there recently and ended up having a huge giggle fest. The salesclerk told my sister that she might be better off in the full figure shop down further in the mall. We just started giggling and couldn't stop. Needless to say, the teddy we were buying for our size 4 cousin for her wedding shower got bought in the department store where no one made any recommendations of where to buy our underwear.
