A question for Motor home owners

We are a few years from retirement and thinking of getting a Class A. We are wondering exactly what you can do while you are heading down the road in a well equipped motor home. Can you cook? Can you shower? Could you do a load of laundry? What would you avoid dong?

Parked or moving makes no difference in our A.

I don't know about doing all that stuff. We have a class A and I will get up to use the bathroom get a drink or snack. We were traveling on 95 one time someone pull in front of us and then slammed on their brakes. I don't know how my husband avoided hitting him but anything that was loose in the motorhome came flying foward. I don't think I would have wanted to have a hot pot on the stove or been taking a shower when that happened.
