Maybe, if it's shown on ESPN. Otherwise, you may just get some updates in O'Gills.

So they won't show any sports unless it's on ABC/ESPN? Did they show the Superbowl last night (it was on FOX)? Daytona is not as big a deal as the Superbowl but it is a big deal for NASCAR fans.

Don't know for sure that they showed the SuperBowl, but they might have. Often, for big events, they will show them on the big screen by the pool, as well as in the sports bar. It also depends on whether it's available via satellite.

For most sports events, unless it's on ABC/ESPN you won't get the whole show. But there will be sports news with updates.

I get that Daytona is a big event, we watch races (when we can), also.

Someone posted a video on the book of faces last night of the super bowl being shown on the outdoor screen by the pool. Not sure Daytona 500 would have the same following as the super bowl.

As said previously, sporting events are subject to "Satellite Availability" no matter what station. They can pick up the international broadcast, which is not necessarily the same network as the US broadcast. For example, during the NCAA mens basketball tournament (shown in the US on CBS), they will show it and it will be an ESPN broadcast. They will most likely have the Daytona in the pub / bar depending on which ship you are on. It will likely be posted in the navigator.

I was able to see NFL playoff games in my cabin in Jan, some times the channel would freeze and then it would stop playing on one channel and start on another. They also showed re-runs of the games the following night.

The super bowl was shown in the Sports Bar, the big screen, D Lounge, Edge and Vibe. It was on Caribbean ESPN, and since we were in the Bahamas we did not get the full effects of commercials.
