a question for a uk resident

hi, i was wondering if anyone from the uk could answer a general question for me. i ordered something from the uk and was wondering how long it usually takes to get to usa. i think it was sent airmail and is there a way to track it. can't get much info from person i bought it from. thanks

when I have ordered stuff from the USA I have got it within a week.
I have also sent stuff to the USA and it is usually quick and takes less than a week.
you can only track it if it is sent by registered mail and you will need a ref number to do this.

According to the Royal Mail website (http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/content1?catId=400023&mediaId=17800253)

The last posting date for Airmail to the USA was the 11th December, (things after this point can still arrive but not guaranteed)

So if it was sent before then you should be good for christmas.
