a question about water bottles

I read in one of my books that they allow only clear water bottles. I bought all the kids the coleman kids fanny pack and it has a water bottle that is not clear. Do I need to replace it? or is it not that big of a deal they are white?

Our water bottles aren't clear, and we've never had a problem with them. Ours are white and in insulated carry bags.

I've never heard that rule, KrisJ. We carried the Brita bottles on our last trip, and they're white and completely opaque.
