A question about the PC cruises

We are booked for the EBPC in August, currently we have a room in the very back of the ship. I am just curios if anyone has had a room in the very back or just hung in the very back of the ship while going through the locks? Is a good view worth keeping? We currently have a nice size verandah and a great sized room (we have a HA room because I use an electric scooter), hubby would like to upgrade our room but I think we are going to have a great view even with the white wall, put needed please..... TIA

We went through the first set of locks on the starboard deck 4 and also in the MDR, then the next two locks, we snagged a table in the back of Beach Blanket (rear of the ship) out on the deck and watched the last two locks from there. It was an amazing place to view and I would do it again, just like that.

On my PC cruise, I tried to head out to the "secret" deck on deck 7 and it was full with a large crowd of people. As far as I could see, it was a fantastic view and those people were there for a good reason. I think you have a fantastic verandah for the passage.

I agree you will have a fantastic view. We went several places throughout the ship because you get different perspectives in addition to your verandah. Deck 3 through the portholes is really neat when you are in the locks. Deck 4 is neat because you can see just how close the ship is from the sides of the lock.

I guess it comes down to personal choice............on deck you can see where your going. Back aft, on a veranda, you see where you have been!

You have a great room with a great view. We personally visited all the decks that day and enjoyed getting to watch from each vantage point! We also did Palo for a late brunch, which was a very nice experience!
