A question about the fifth floor AKL Concierge rooms

A question about the fifth floor AKL Concierge rooms......

I understand that not all of the 5th floor rooms are concierge. Where are the 5th flloor concierge rooms located in reference to the concierge lounge?

If staying concierge, is it better to request a room on the 5th floor or the 6th.

What are the pluses and minuses of being on each floor

As I understand it, the 5th floor concierge rooms are those that are closer to the center of the resort and not all the way at either end.

The first time we went to AKL we were surprised by the fact that the lounge was on 6 and our room was on 5. In the end, however, it's not a big deal. I think there are more concierge rooms available on 5 and more rooms with a savannah views on that floor. As a result, being on 5 is better than 6 (in my opinion).

We stayed AKL Con last December and our room was on the 5th floor. It wasn't a big deal to get to the lounge on the 6th floor and our room had the BEST view. I was kind of glad we were on the 5th floor cause he didn't have to listen to the noise from the lounge or the lobby. The walk wasn't too far, it was a nice leisurely stroll.

Request a non-smoking Savannah view and you should get the fifth floor. I think the 6th floor rooms are smoking with pool view. When we stayed concierge we had fifth floor Savannah view. We had great views, but the rooms were a long way from the elevator to the concierge lounge. We had a great time. Hope you do too.
