Is there a discount for booking for a future cruise? How far ahead of time can you book? I've not booked a bounce back before!

It's called on board booking. Which means you have to make a booking or future booking while you are on board the ship. Once you get off, it's too late.

There are 2 types of onboard bookings. There is a "placeholder" booking that you can book for $250. Use this type if you are unsure of the cruise you want to take. Once you decide you can covert this to an actual booking. You will receive a 10% discount, if applicable (there are block out dates) and you will be required to pay any additional deposit amount.

The other is when you have already picked out a cruise date. You can make the booking onboard, pay your reduced deposit, get your discount, (again, if applicable).

With both of these onboard booking types you will be required to sail within 48 months of booking to keep your onboard booking perks.

An Onboard Booking provides a 10% discount off the cruise fare, an onboard credit of $100 or $200 depending on length of the new cruise, and for cruises of 7+ nights a reduced deposit. If you don't know the exact date you wish to cruise, you can book a "placeholder" for $250 which provides you these benefits. Both OBB and placeholders must be used within 24 months. There are black-out dates.

Enjoy your cruise!
